Afterbirth+ is currently not supported, an update is planned to add support but it's going to take a while.

im playing on afterbirth+ and inn console it says thet rection Api can not be initialized cuz the current version is not suported

@Lil Dark That is something I've been working on, it has taken a while since AB+ is quite limited in terms of what the API allows you to do, so I need to rewrite a large portion of the mod to make it fully compatible.

You would need to enable the debug console and then press the ~ key (if you have a US keyboard).
There is a guide to enabling the debug console right here: Debug Console [bindingofisaacrebirth.fandom.com]

That being said it might be easier to check the log.txt for errors.
Check for any instance of: [INFO] - Error in your log.txt file

The log.txt file is in the Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Repentance right next to options.ini

Mac does not have the Repentance DLC which is currently required for the mod to work.
I am working on an update for Afterbirth+, but it will take some time, as qualities do not exist in that version, and some of the necessary functions are also missing from the old API.
To make the mod compatible, it will need to be completely rewritten.

@scramble You are probably referring to the costumes applied by Reaction Port Pack, if so then I can confirm that I'm getting the issue as well

Oh that's because the API is currently not enabled when it detects that you don't have Repentance. I am planning to make the API Afterbirth+ compatible but it's gonna take a while since in Afterbirth+ item qualities don't exist, and I'm gonna have to hard code them myself.

Thank you for the quick reply. I tried to use the reaction pack mod which needs reaction api, but everytime I start a run with both the api and the reaction pack enabled it says that the api isnt active. Any idea what I could do? I've tried verifying the integrity of the files already and it hasnt worked. Other mods seem to work but this one doesnt for some reason

@No™️ario I've never heard of mods causing problems for specific processors so it should work

The only thing I know of is that some shaders don't work on certain Operating Systems, but this mod doesn't use them so as long as your Pc can run other Isaac mods it should work no problem.

@BlueMarioGangsta I have made the mod compatible with both vanilla and Repentogon, you will switch to the vanilla version automatically if Repentogon is not enabled and to the Repentogon version if it is enabled

If it doesn't trigger try checking for the integrity of the files:
Right Click on the Game in the left search bar of the Library > Properies > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files

you can check the version by going into the mods folder and looking for the folder named:
!! reactionapi_3096181411, then open the metadata.xml file and read the version variable
