uh, it seems to work well enough now. I have no idea when it was fixed, I was having troubles getting it to download via the workshop or anything else a year ago

when you hold down q on the left side at the bottom there'll be a thing called "addons", click the plus icon and look until you find a directory called something to the tune of "Dark Souls Tower Knight". all the related models should be there and you can spawn them like you would with anything else.
