Fixed critical error of missing main menu after force leaving the server.
customized Skill Panel (used in some challenges like "Level 1 + Skill Points")
I personally dont really mind tbh, its only the loading icon and the skill icons are pink everything else looks fine to me."
I made the textures very quickly by simply changing the saturation levels etc. in gimp. If you would like to change them to something more consistent with the color scheme I would be grateful ;)
On high gamma it falls a bit into a neon red broken with pink, at least on my monitor.
I don't like it but it all depends on the gamma and color calibration of the monitor.
I always have Windows night mode active and use frameless window mode (forced default gamma). So for me the colors are slightly softened reds with a touch of orange.
Only zButterfly once reported to me, through another channel, comments about the colors and no one else commented, so for now I'm not changing it, especially since despite some automation I would have to change the colors in about 300 files.
+1 red makes you feel like a badass badguy
The problem is most likely the background file name - the new UI uses a new background file name, and the mod you are using uses the old background name, so your mod doesn't work with either my mod or the original new UI. To fix this, you need to modify the mod you are using - rename the bg_01.bik file to insertion.bik. I sent you more info via PM.
rd_legacy_ui 2017 doesnt work with the mod and the mod i have for my custom background in main menu doesnt seem to work with the newer ui :c
I plan to create other color versions in the future. At this moment, I am refining this version and waiting for the official UI development to be completed (e.g. a new "loadouts" panel with marine equipment presets).
I like the blue color myself, but blue light, especially in dark rooms, is harmful to humans - it can cause, for example, problems with the circadian cycle and sleep.
● more readable button color
● stylized options panels in the in-game menu
● unifying the style of more UI elements
● Fixed a bug that did not allow checking mission objectives
I'm still working on the add-on, so if someone wasn't satisfied with it, it's worth checking the current version.
As always, your feedback is welcome!
● tinted panels
(I still recommend using "night mode" in windows - take care of your eyesight and health - avoid bright blue light!)
● new in-game menu
● font colors
● bar colors: marine experience and skills, weapon parameters
As always, your feedback is welcome!
Screenshot background video is the official video background of the game's main menu. This video appears only within the main menu and its subpanels.
This add-on does not contain any static or video backgrounds. If someone wants to change the video background from the official one to another, they can use other addons for this purpose.
I'm sorry, but you can't change colors using console commands. The colors of "CNB_Button" buttons are defined in *.res files for each button separately. The font color of the "CNB_button" button is defined, if I remember correctly, in the general "swarmschemenew.res" scheme. To change the colors, you would have to create your own addon that would overwrite the settings from my addon. I could change the font color of the buttons, e.g. to white to improve readability, but I would like to know the opinion of more users.
compromise redesigned.
