Super well designed and polished, very fun, but damn is he one of the more overpowered mod characters that's not a cheapie/joke. Would be nice if he could get an update to balance him out.

I had what I think is a pretty good idea for a new up special, so I thougjt I'd share in case you ever wanted to change it.

This Up Special would act similarly to a mix of Greninja's counter and uncharged Sephiroth up special, with some visual flair that is similar to his current up special:

Bhadra disappears into his hat (with a weak hitbox) and a moment later reappears slightly behind his hat, slashing and dashing simultaneously in one of 8 chosen directions. At the end of the dash he stalls in the air briefly then falls straight down with limited aerial drift.

It would have high endlag/landing lag, but if Bhadra makes contact with a Rail during the dash, it will be cancelled into a rail grind (maybe only after slash hitbox comes out?).

Also I think there's a bug that pushes him through the stage upward instead of having him hug the wall if his up B just barely wouldn't make it up. not sure though.

I want this character to win the contest so so badly. I could rant for hours about how much I love this character (and I have already, actually.)

a few hings because this character is definitely super duper busted

Parried coins shouldn't extend slash rails.
Existing slash rails should disappear instantly when Bhadra dies (so that he can't get coins from them on the next stock)

The coin net (when combined with everything else) seems busted. making it only proc when a coin passes through it rather than also after a set duration would probably be a good idea

There's a ton of other ways this character is probably (well, almost certainly) too strong but since the idea of the character contest is for fun and doesn't require balance really who cares. Let him have his fire capital covering wavedrops from level 1 slash rail.

im having a weird issue with this mod where sometimes I have access to several skins and then sometimes i have way fewer, i dont understand why, and would like to understand why this sometimes happens

Edit: A cool change could be removing the hitbox for the forward special and allowing Bhadra to instantly rail grind but that is just a random thought.

Cool character though I have a few criticisms:
1. There is no indication on Bhadra of the coin count so it is impossible to know how far he can send his bridge. (The coins by his name at the bottom don't help because you can't expect a player to look down there)
2. The rail (forward special) is too easy to throw out. Edge guarding is incredibly easy and the length of rail per coin is way too far. Personally, the rail having hitbox when sending out is quite strong especially when forward special can be held indefinitely.

Otherwise, cool!

With all due respect to the character and concept, Bahdra is overpowered. Too much range, too much agility, too much AoE, too much coin. The side special's dash is just unnecessary on top of all that zoning as well, his Uspecial also goes too far. Could be tweaked, in a perfect world

If none of your submissions get into the final game (or dlc) I hope you help develop something in a PFE project or somewhere cause these are insanely creative and endlessly fun, I'd easily pay for a full roster designed like the 3 you've put out so far I'd get addicted so fast

Balance wise I don't think he should both keep his extra coins gained and be replenished back to 5 after death if he went under that amount; considering how easily he can get them already and how oppressive his coins are in neutral and combo confirms that power him up, I'd argue his starting coin amount should just be at 3 as well.

Bhadra should either keep all his extra gained coins on a fresh stock, but never get replenished by dying **OR** a fresh stock always resets him back to 3 coins regardless of how many he had when he died.

As an avid Johnny enjoyer, I can solidly say you nailed the feeling of the mist finer. Even beyond the obvious inspiration, the way the rest of his kit plays of the mechanic makes him etremely fun to play. The animations themselves are also incredibly charming. I especially love the way he catches the coins in his hat after down special.

Just want to say that I love the new update! bouncing coins on the rail is sooo much fun, and the slight decrease in momentum during air mist finer makes grinding on an upward angled rail while recovering (which was previously very finicky and momentum dependant) MUUUCH more consistent. I think I like the character even more now!

@ravyn Hello! Thank you very much! That's a great suggestion, as some configs have attack overlap strong inputs like smash that's probably a good change. Regarding coin interaction with rails the idea with it enhancing or bouncing off of it was discussed, but the consensus is that the arc that the coin does is a much better trajectory overall than what the rail provides, so changes that would obstruct the coin movement are hard to do. thank you for the nice comments :)
@Yiggly All mist finers take the same knockback! With that said I'll be decreasing the knockback a little bit next patch. Thank you for the nice comments!

hi! bhadra is super fun and i love this character, defo my fave submission so far! yallve done a fantastic job

only feedback id rly give is that itd be nice if you could cancel the fspecial stance with the strong button as well - as the attack button can be awkward to hit in some layouts

maybe the coin could interact further with the gold rails? bouncing off of them could be interesting, kit interactivity is always super fun!

this character is tons of fun and ive really been enjoying it so far, keep up the great work!!

Sorry, one more note: Perhaps the knockback of mist finer should scale based on the levels? I think it feels weird that level 1 mist finer kills just as well as level 3. I think reducing the knockback scaling on level 1 and increasing it on level 3 might make for a more satisfying build-up?
Then again, the absurd range on level 3 already makes it's kill power nutty, especially offstage. I wonder if a tipper sweetspot would be good?
Anyway, just throwing out ideas. Again, incredible character, great job!

I would like to add: While, as others have pointed out, the kill power of mist finer (especially at low levels) is probably too much, I do hope you don't kill it's speed. I think what makes it fun is how fast you can throw a new rail out there to keep grinding, so I would love if you kept it's speed! The move would still be fun even if it took more setup to kill with it, but making it slower would really cut into what makes this character fun and special.

This is the most fun character I've played with in a long time. Probably because I'm a massive Johnny stan ^^; Absolutely incredible design. You really thought through, how could mist finer interact with rivals? And the rail grinding is just genius. My hat is off to you, incredible job!
