Lorewise though, I imagine that it'd be more likely that the Winescales started as slaves imported to harvest rare / hard-to-grow subterrean berries for wine. Either having freshly revolted in 1444, or being given rights as part of a political ploy to weaken the people who enslaved them. Then they could have a path to either go independent, cozy up to the empire, or pursue a Little Folk revolution.
... That said its been a while since I played so my understanding of lore could be off.
That aside, I am not too happy with the Redscale MT and the new Kobildzan MT is on the horizon that likely updates a lot of the lore. Additionally I missed a lot of lore docs related to the Kobolds, so once I get a few more MTs done I will likely take another crack at it but for now it is good enough.
Anyway I really enjoyed the Red Kobold missions, speed running unifying the Kobolds and dunking on everyone around me was a blast.
I am super excited for when the Escann Kobolds get their mission tree, and also excited when the rest of the Xia Kobolds mission tree gets done. Oh speaking of them they had a bug where if you pick the uninhabited province option to settle the mission for leaving Haless and going to Sarhal wouldn't be possible because the island is in dejure Haless unlike the other two options.
Is it some planed stuff?

Also I guess the redscale mission tree is still WIP? Would it be possible for the missions of Kobildzan to be combined to same tree instead of replacing it completely?
So originally Darkscale was meant to be a nation where all Smallfolk can live together.
Now a lot of Smallfolk like Gnomes, Pixies, Halflings, Kobolds, sometimes Goblins and certain Dwarves too, are all considered fey.
So the idea for one of the Darkscale tags was to create a nation for all fey and fey adjacent either in the Serpentvale or the Deepwoods.
My other ideas were, forest Kobolds who worship the fae like the goblins. We can use the greenscales for that with Emeraldscale as name dont know.
Icebolds in the high north. Fight against the Dwarfs in the northern Mountian part. There National Ideas Is focused on attrition.
I also thought about a Pirate Nation with Kobolds. Double the gold dont know.
On the unit type, they are Escann Tech Group for the sake of the Adventurer Gov reform. Things that might get changed later.
Is there a lore reason for the Copperscales new religion?
I'm asking because I had the same Idea with a Kobold mod and adding several Tags.
Aakhetism would be fitting religion for some kobolds, those little Dragon lovers :) Aakhet the Bronze is still alive.
