Alright, well, it was a fun mod while it lasted :)
Wickerman123  [ophavsmand] 24. juni 2018 kl. 11:54
@PlatypusFighter no, I've not played Spengies since I released this mod. I've forgotten how to even add mods. The line I edited to make this block work porbably doesn't exist anymore either, sorry.
PlatypusFighter 23. juni 2018 kl. 17:17
Is this going to be fixed? I can still place the block, but it just appears as a pink cube, and a pink square in the inventory.

Chi-0 21. mar. 2015 kl. 5:11

for those of you having trouble pening heavy armor... build a torpedo with a container filled with stone (about it's only practical use anyways...) Will go through any armor like butter, even more effective if the resulting chunk of rock gets caught in target's gravity field...
Bill 18. mar. 2015 kl. 18:37
the age old debate; kinetic torpedoes or explosive torpedoes... I like having both in one. Penetrate 5-10 meters, then explode. sensors can be a bit screwy sometimes though. Wish we had some kind of pressure trigger block (that can trigger before it gets destroyed when it hits something)

@Wickerman123 - I wouldn't stress over it. I am using for an application that you had originally not intended it for.
Wickerman123  [ophavsmand] 24. jan. 2015 kl. 14:57
@Flynn - Okay I'll have a look at that when I can (I don't actually understand how to mod properly, this was pretty much luck :P) I'll have to make sure everything still works on my Laptop.
Sephios83 24. jan. 2015 kl. 10:04
@Wickerman123 - Sure. The ammunition the weapon fires is a single row of 15 heavy armor blocks in a straight line. I though it would be ab awesome touch to include the spike as the tip of the ammunition. I do not know why but it cannot be placed as a tip for anything that is large. I have no problems attaching it as a tip for small block based items but when I try to place it on a large block based item it just says red and is unplaceable. If you want some screen caps just let me know. Awesome mod though as it makes brutal physical shielding.

@Flynn - Could you illustrate the issue? I'm not quite understanding it.
Sephios83 23. jan. 2015 kl. 13:16
My only issue with this is I built a gravity cannon that launches heavy armor rods and I cannot place this at the tip because it only wants to act like a wall piece and stack on its side. Is there anyway to get that fixed so it can be adhered to something as a tip?
Average Caucasian Shark 13. jan. 2015 kl. 18:16
my cannon ball does less dmg to heavry armor with this. you may want to up its armor value.
allso you cant put any blocks on the back part of the spike, you may want to fix that.
Average Caucasian Shark 13. jan. 2015 kl. 18:00
will put this on my (cannon bal) and see if it ups the dmg
MrEvan312 10. jan. 2015 kl. 23:11
Putting one of these on a artificial mass round out of a gravity cannon, now that we have the speed mods this sucker will go right through armor.

Omg. Solvjord - Please fucking make that ship. I need to see it and you've just given me ideas to start making those ships. Best game of my childhood.
Eldorado3533 10. sep. 2014 kl. 19:52

DJ-D1NG0DIL3 10. sep. 2014 kl. 15:13
Wheatley should come packed with this.
Solvjord 10. sep. 2014 kl. 13:34
I would use it to remake the Auriga from Skies of Arcadia. http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100918041812/skiesofarcadia/images/c/c2/Auriga.jpg
JCapt 10. sep. 2014 kl. 10:54
By the way, you can use this as a bomb. The spike will possibly pierce the armor and punch holes through the light armor.

Omg Mr.Mashy is now in Space engineers!!! Mr.Mashy is a spike plate from portal 2
Darkaiser 9. sep. 2014 kl. 22:22
There are times when the practical must make way for the fun. This is one of those times. Sensors + Grav Gen increase + Spikey Plate = Pit trap!

u know so many ppl come up with great awful weapons, they are great because they do the damage but awful because of cost. its hard to get a cheap and good weapon speaking of wich the last update messed with the ram damage phisics of the game because my torpedo does about 20= pen now but the torpedo was suppose to survive at least part of it anyway but now it goes until the engine is knocked out or its little tiny chewed up pieces lol was worth it until this update because u used to be able to use the same torpedo 4 times before it was busted and that was 15= every time now ur luck if it survives one shot but i guess on the flip side who in the h had 15 blocks armor, iv only seen 2 ships with that much and they were so slow they were just sitting ducks and easy targets might as well have been a space station
V4D4RS F1ST 9. sep. 2014 kl. 16:54
i made a simple slug that gets 15+ as well its quite large though useing mass to do the work thinking of making a modified version of it that i can attach differant heads to the same engine and just reuse the engine.
Moon 9. sep. 2014 kl. 16:05
Nothing can save you now, no portal gun avalible in space... or walls sense everything is made of metal. XD nice
XEN0KID 9. sep. 2014 kl. 14:38
wheatly? is... i-is that you?!
jljohnson62 9. sep. 2014 kl. 13:54
Can't wait till the large ship version. Made a 15+ heavy armor block penetration and really want to put evil looking spikes on it!
Kaelum 9. sep. 2014 kl. 12:40
One thing comes to mind...

"Aristotle vs... MASHY SPIKE PLATE!!!"
Kilon Kasio 9. sep. 2014 kl. 9:48
BATTERING RAM AT THE READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hhaddow 9. sep. 2014 kl. 6:03
looks good it would also make a decent impactor (on the tip of a missile/grav-rail round) maybe then i will beat my grav rail record of 16 blocks of heavy armour penitration
Wickerman123  [ophavsmand] 9. sep. 2014 kl. 5:56
Yeah, as soon as I saw sensors in the patch notes I just had to!
eXor 9. sep. 2014 kl. 5:53
geiil.... nice... waiting for. good idea anyway caus now comming the following/tracking dronse with this spikes as ramming option.. wuahaha.. thanx you
Wickerman123  [ophavsmand] 9. sep. 2014 kl. 5:51
I haven't done any testing and I've not changed a lot of the values, it's very much in BETA til I get better internet on Thursday, I aim to make them nice and strong and also make a large ship variant for ramming purposes :)
eXor 9. sep. 2014 kl. 5:46
are they damaging more than normal armor and heavy armor blocks?
