im a bit confused on how to place this thing. normally modules go on the back of refineries with the slightley smaller slots. but this in images seems to be done completley diffrentley.
Count Selnakis 2 MAR a las 1:52
@PeekofWar the module only has four upgrade slots on it, and they're spread out, so you need to puzzle at least four of these modules onto one refinery to get the max listed stats (each module will only have two of it's four slots actually on the refinery).
Peekofwar 8 FEB a las 10:54
According to the description, the refinery should be 300% yield. I believe this mod may need an update to address this, if this is what it's suppose to be. In my game, I'm only getting a 173% yield, rather than the promised 300%.

According to Build Info, the slot stats are correct, however I'm not getting the 300% yield that the description promises with all four slots connected to the refinery.

Max required input on the refinery is reported at 3.41 MW, which is lower.

I just performed a test, and this is actually worse yield-wise than a fully yield refinery.

A refinery with four yield modules produces 140 ingots from 100 iron ore. Refine speed 130%, yield 200%, and efficiency 100%.
A refinery with one general productivity module produces 121 ingots from 100 iron ore. Refine speed 430%, yield 173%, efficiency 66%.

If you're going purely for speed and perhaps an industrial aesthetic, this may be for you. If, however, you're going for maximum yield efficiency, you should go with standard yield-modules only.

I haven't yet used these in any of my production/refinery designs, since I usually use the Industrial DLC variants, and they have to be placed upright for them to make sense. This of course means these modules would be placed sideways where the passageways and control panels contained within would also be sideways which wouldn't make sense in a gravitational or defined up/down environment.

I suppose in the end, these are meant to be the central part of your design, rather than the actual production machine itself. Still, I'd love to see another variation of this idea but with the Industrial DLC variants of the machinery in mind, such that I could use one of these modules with my Industrial DLC production machines.

@ titanius anglesmith: Not entirely, as this is also supposed to be compatible with assemblers (incl. the industrial ones), which aren't replaced by the Prototech Assembler.
titanius anglesmith 15 OCT 2024 a las 10:58
prototech has come to take this things job :0

I don't understand how to place this module on a refinery that is on a planet with gravity.

That is to say, if we respect the direction (up and down) of placement of the refineries, then the door of this module will be vertical.

If, on the other hand, we place this module horizontally (as in the images on this page) so that the door is parallel to the ground (as in real life), then the refinery will necessarily have to stick underneath and upside down.
Peekofwar 28 SEP 2024 a las 11:11
I'd love to see a variant of this designed specifically for the DLC refineries.

On this module, there are squares with yellow rims. They look just like a conveyor port, but they don't function like one. You need to have them connect directly to the same squares with yellow rims on the refinery by placing the block onto the refinery. You, unfortunately, cannot use pipes or any other method to connect modules up.
Cpt. Panda 28 ABR 2024 a las 11:12
I'm pretty new to SE, so i'm probably a bit clueless, but i cant figure out how to connect this up to the refineries. i've tried conveyor tubes and junctions, but nothing works.
The Thinker 2 21 ABR 2024 a las 13:12
Is this mod compatible with servers? I tried loading it up on a Nitrado server and even tried disabling progression but the block still won't show up in the menu.
xXShadowNinjaXx 31 MAR 2024 a las 21:49
Is there a version of this with this module having 4x2 ports on the bottom instead of what it currently is?
Marcus Aquila 22 MAR 2024 a las 5:05
Yes
Mayckak 22 MAR 2024 a las 3:58
Does it work with assemblers?
Shining Justice 31 ENE 2024 a las 19:39
a variant with a rotated pathway would be really cool so you could put it on the back of the large refinery
KEJWII 21 ENE 2024 a las 9:08
Great design

And this is the style I would like to see in more and more mods
it makes me want to go back to space engineers and test them
YouKnowMe 17 ENE 2024 a las 2:50
I found the problem, the mod itself works, but for some reason the block itself does not appear in the general list of blocks because of which I could not find it, I partially solved this problem thanks to the mod (AR) Realistic Progress, all mod blocks that are not supported by it are blamed a separate list from which I found the structure I needed
because DLC shouldn't be functional
Freddeboi 15 ENE 2024 a las 9:35
WHY IS THIS NOT DLC?
YouKnowMe 14 ENE 2024 a las 11:30
After installing the mod, new blocks did not appear, how can I fix this?
Chance  [autor] 10 ENE 2024 a las 7:09
@snbiek Oh yea, it's meant to be 9MW, thanks for pointing that out!
snbiek 9 ENE 2024 a las 16:29
Did you mean 9MW power draw or is it actually GW? If so you should probably turn that down...
Chance  [autor] 8 ENE 2024 a las 5:14
@YungPro It's an upgrade module just like the vanilla ones, big difference is that it affects speed, yield and power efficiency at the same time and is fairly bigger to compensate for it's power. It works with both refinery, assemblers and other modded devices that use these upgrades.
CynicDragon 7 ENE 2024 a las 14:26
so is it a assembler or refinery? very confused
BIV 31 DIC 2023 a las 15:17
Looks great, the effect on the game seems great and there were no listed issues so great.
I think it's great. Well done and cheers.
jokerace45 31 DIC 2023 a las 12:57
I like this as it actually looks industrial. The passage is very nice idea too.
Deathfather 31 DIC 2023 a las 10:57
I like this. Similar to my solution! :) Thank you for this mod. Great work!
[BR]SharkStrike 31 DIC 2023 a las 6:27
This is the way to satisfy the megalomaniac desire that every engineer has, without compromising the game's performance.
You big block modders should unite.
Chance  [autor] 31 DIC 2023 a las 1:42
@Art3mis If it's modpack for a server you can upload it as unlisted and put link to original in the description.
Rhea.licious 30 DIC 2023 a las 22:17
Incredible model
KnightForEyes 30 DIC 2023 a las 22:06
Actually Thanks for creating mods like these. I got bored of boring aah overpowered module mods. This mod adds some production stuff that is different which adds more colors to the "Industry" of space engineers. Cook up more stuff! I'Ll follow each one of em!
won2three 30 DIC 2023 a las 18:33
This looks good
Art3mis 30 DIC 2023 a las 15:55
Hey can I make a repost, I want to make a version with variations and tiered versions for a modpack?
ZEN_2255 30 DIC 2023 a las 14:40
Wow! It's so well made!
Jack Schitt 30 DIC 2023 a las 8:35
This looks awesome! Well done! Thanks for sharing!
ι3ξτ^н4ЖΣ0я 30 DIC 2023 a las 4:53
Simply phenomenal. A refinery with 4 of those upgrade modules oriented in the correct way is a real beast. Feels pretty well balanced, because this block is very expensive and heavy as well
EshFrog 30 DIC 2023 a las 2:25
Really nice model
Sevyrs 29 DIC 2023 a las 18:10
This looks amazing.
PanicOregon281 29 DIC 2023 a las 14:08
The image at the bottom of this page, i wish was a refinery block.
[82DK] wyomingwolf 29 DIC 2023 a las 13:10
Looks good, provides all the benefits with slight downside.. what is there not to love? :D Looking forward to placing this in the base.
