Yeah, Simon thought this was just a reskin. Like, guys, this weapon is so unique, like not only it added a lot more customization, but it has a shotgun mag as well, like how isn't that something worth having?

nowadays, i'm just waiting for viper and mushroomguy to port the rocket launchers. i'm not sure if they'd be customizable much, but it'd be cool to see projectile bullets in MW base.

for me, any gun is cool in my book as long as it isn't something plain with little to no variety in its customization

well, the TEC-9 is a pretty unique gun

honestly im probably one of the only people who doesent want the ftac siege that much.

mainly because we already have 2972778929 pistols and we dont need another one, but i do get that the ftac siege is completely different, almost like an smg more than a pistol

Also Simon, if you are reading this, i wanna let you know that i hold no grudge against you, however your behavior has been bothering a lot of people and you are well aware of that. Why you keep doing it despite you seeing how wrong it is, is beyond me. I do believe you when you keep saying that you represent the community and that you wanna "demand for justice" on behalf of everyone else, but you are representing them rather poorly especially since you approach everyone in such an aggressive way. If you really want to help the community and make sure more guns get ported including yours eventually (hopefully), you shouldn't put pressure on modders, it's what makes them hesitate to make any more guns. Do you realize that a gun is right now being gatekept because of your fault alone? Your actions resulted in the exact opposite of your intentions.

Yeah, Simon always takes the most insensible approach, he's always just full of anger because no one ports his favourite gun. It's not that deep man, and at the end of the day the author does what he wants.

Some of the things that Simon's been saying over the course of time do have a seed of truth in them but the thing is he just uses the truth to try and make his aggressive behaviour valid.

Which begs my following question, when will this mod that is being gatekept because of Simon that you speak of will be released? You can't just wait until that guy leaves GMod for good or something, right? Especially since something like that is very unlikely to happen.

I understand why yall hate simon, even I'm not 100% on his side, he is a bit over the top.

You have put that very nicely Fuku. Surely it is unreasonable to believe someone is stagnant and and an unproductive loser just because you assumed so because you aren't aware of their passions and work. And besides, people can't be a jack of all trades and it's unreasonable to expect that from them. Hence why someone like Fuku would have to rely on others in this regard.

One note I'll end this on though, is that I am infact improving on myself. And I have started to do productive things which I'm passionate about, such as making music.

I also plan to learn how to draw and maybe even cook. I wanna go outside more and experience nature.

However, I do not plan to come back to gmod modding. Its a tedious task that I'm uninterested in, and is something I've never been passionate for. Hence why I wait for these mw2 ports, and will ask if any guns and/or certain guns are ever planned.

Also yeah, Simon is this entitled guy that is everywhere on workshop, heck i even saw him make a huge drama in an ARC9 Base mod's page. It's a pity that modders are being held back because of people like him, he ruins all the fun

This whole thing tells me that most of the people who partake in this, if not all of them, aren't the brightest people. Some have a breakdown because only the mod author decides what he does (which i respect, although having at least SOME consideration for suggestions would surely be something), others jump to conclusions or make poorly made and unreasonable assumptions and blindly attack in the comment sections because they don't see the full picture of what's going on, heck some here even instigated the drama just for the hell of it. So in a nutshell, there are a lot of red flags coming from the people who took part in this "scandal", so all i could say is that i do wish that they are able to notice their errors and correct them instead of trying to ignore them because they are insecure, it's not healthy man.

Second, the reason we hate "Simon" and attack him is because he often makes a lot of unreasonable demands in discord and a few author friends I know, and we are under no obligation to do so.
His behavior indirectly resulted in a good mod that still can't be released because the author is bored with him.
