Love this character, one of my new favorites for sure. Can detect quite a few references to Ridley in his moveset, as well as Charizard and Mii Gunner.

Only issue he has is that he seems to warp up or to the side when hitting the edge of his terrain with Up Special way too easily. He can circumvent edgeguards by intentionally hitting the corner of the stage, or might accidentally die if going straight down with Up Special on the top of the ledge.

honestly out of all the mod characters I tried, I really like the designs of this one. Idk if this is a stretch, but maybe in a few years time we might see this guy in rivals 2? A lot of good ideas here that can work in rivals 2.

phenomenal character but at the moment it seems unplayable online, causes random crashes after a few seconds :steamsad:

This character is so sick. Their setups are really fun to pull off, but even without them they're just incredible.

The references to GFVS Belial/ABelial are a nice touch, too!

This character is a blast. Love the gameplay. I've only encountered one problem with Vakna, and that is an interesting interaction with Kragg. When Kragg has his Uspecial active on stage, Vakna's active-blob Dspecial causes a fatal error when it tries to get past Kragg's stone pillar. It doesn't do the same thing with the cube though, so I'm guessing it's just an issue with the variable elevation difference. Other than that though, no complaints here!

I still think the U-special should work more like any other 8 way/omni-directional firefox recovery when it comes to aiming it; its oddly obtuse to use if you just want to aim straight up or straight down if you are trying to detonate magma pockets with it.

this is the most well designed character ive ever seen. He's going to win. No doubt. My only suggestion is damn, his recovery is so hard to angle, though idk if it was my controller being finnicky. And I really hope his dair spikes, still have yet to land it after 20 matches but I'm going to keep believing that it exists LOL.

I think his charged fireball (Nspecial) should have some durability on it so it doesn't lose to weaker projectiles. Even the pocket enhanced version is negated by fast 1% non flinching projectiles when they clash.

1 more thing, his Air version of Basalt slam Dspecial 2 falls so slowly to the ground, it looks like it lacks impact of actually making rocks shoot up. It would be more useful to get you back down to stage or punish sharkers trying to keep you in the air if it was faster when it descends..

Some more suggestions. Vakna's Fspecial is nice, but always makes you pratfall unless you are grounded with the magma pocket. It Function's a lot like Rhyolis' Fspecial with the floor buff empowering it and nullifying pratfall except Vakna's is a worse risk reward because landing the regular version doesn't let you remain actionable after the fact so you aren't incentivized to use it off stage for punishes. The last suggestion is for magma pockets to be consumed with specials like it is now, but stay for at least another hit or 2 when just having opponents or yourself knocked into it. The set up trapper part is spending too much time setting up Dspecials and not enough time comboing into them like Wren or others.

Great art, animation, and design. Some suggestions and critiques I have though: Nair has a lot of endlag on it after the attack is done, so how about being able to jump cancel it on hit to give it some more versatility or make it actionable sooner after the attack is done Easy to fall to your death if you try to use it to edge guard someone with it if they are below stage floor height.

Upsecial seems to have a quirk where you can't consistently make yourself aim 90 degrees down by just holding the left stick downwards due to how it's coded. You have to swivel the left stick from up to down like a 180 motion command to get it do so, my suggestion is to change that.
