I will add in that I don't Boglegs often but I do see them and they appear in everything for raids to trade caravans, the later fittingly as the the trader themselves!

Not that I can think of. I have several new xenotypes and races, maybe one of them required a framework, but I see rotfish more than baseline humans, sometimes minotaurs, genies and imps, hussars often in caravans but never seen a bogleg.

Oddest thing, I've had this mod enabled in my game since 1.4 but I don't think I have EVER seen a bogleg in my game. Not in raids, not in caravans. Wonder if I've been doing something wrong or if they're just that rare.

This is a very cool mod! Like all your other xenotypes these have a lot of work and passion put into them, so great work on your part! I'm curious, how is nutrition for the stored blubber hediff measured? Does 1 nutrition = 1% of the food bar or is it based on some other metric?

As of 2 months ago yes, there is a compatibility patch in CE itself. This and Det's Energy Weapons are the only two of their mods that are listed on the CE compatibility list though, so the others still may have incompatibilities.

Was confused as to why the blubberstorage gene did not store 40 nutrition, when displaying such.
Thankfully i was informed as to how it really works.
For those wondering as well the blubber gene allows a pawn to store up to 0.4 nutrition, which is about half as much as a packaged survival meal for those interested.

I thought my pawns unstarvable with 40 nutrition, yet i was mistaken

I'm currently translating the Boglegs, and it seems, that they have an untranslateable string. The stored blubber shows the "nutrition stored" amount in the tooltip. This string has no translation key.
