it doesn't work with overhaul mods like sfo and radious or units overhauls otherwise it works

Love this mod but does it also affects enemies? Feels a little unfair if only you can shoot through your troops and the enemies cannot

Hey man I came back with bad news your mod crashes the game because of the new update (as expected but i want to try before asking for update)

this is something that written in the crash report : Invalid database record wh3_dlc24_cth_saytang_kill_shot in table : projectile_tables

So i did use this one instead the other mod and i think it work
but anyway i notice the different right away the other mod sometimes prevent the gunner to shot
this mod gunner will shot your unit too but no damage
overall i like this mod and its still works even the tag says outdated

i hope, but to my knowledge it's not possible.
this mod alter some of the rules of the game so it works for every one
however the ai can't use those rules properly which gives huge advantage to the player

Maybe it is possible to downgrade the version of the game. Over properties->betas. I dont know which one to downgrade to but probably the 1.3 thing. Then you might be able to look up the files you need. I know this is very exhausting reinstalling the game over and over again but this could grant you a look at the files you were looking for.

yeah i saw that before i meant i haven't seen the files at the time so i don't know how it worked

actually this mod idea was from that (the ability of projectile to totally ignore friendly troops and just move through them)
but since i don't know how it worked then i made that range ignore friendly with bullets penetrate 2 entity so the bullet can reach the enemy.
anyway i will look it up again and try make it

Hey, I have a question. Is it possible to make a mod that makes it just like in patch 1.3 where friendly units are invisible to friendly ranged attacks? If yes, I would really really appreciate it if you could make such a mod. Because I haven´t seen anyone who made one like this.

and which cannons?
i mostly tried it with empire skaven and dwarves and yeah sometimes the splash of explosives make some damage but it's minimum and i don't know why it even does that :(

well then maybe the load order matters? because the units were a using lightning warp machine guns but they damaged the units in front of them badly, maybe that projectile is different from the one the warp lightning cannon even if they look the same.

hmm i see well i have over 180 mods active and some modded units have unique projectiles and explosions so my guess is that they are not compatible with this mod, does that mean this mod only affects vanilla units and projectiles?

then you have another mod that override this mod probably an overhaul mod or one that edit projectile or explosion
this mod edit those three tables
kv_rules_tables
projectiles_explosions_tables
projectiles_tables
any thing that also use those tables will make it not work
so try disable any other mod and test it
