is there a way to keep all the lights on? it is very hard to navigate the base when only one light is on at a time and it is dark.

I can't seem to get the reactor working. It looks like the reactor rods aren't inserting into the reactor. Is there a way that I can fix this?

There's also a lot of random fluid ports in different areas of the base, one in the airlock near the equipment storage room, one in the gym, and in some other places, which are not connected to anything

The alternative might be to let manually close the inside door and to open it, there should be almost equal pressure between airlock and inside, and less than 0.10 of water in airlock. And a push button with an indicator to show when the inside door is locked or not

seems it did broke. Now the interior door stays open, which i think is due to now ignoring the presence of water and not accounting to the intention of the player to go outside in the form of water in button being pressed. There is already an airlock microcontroller that handles the doors, pumps valves, and is compatible to be the water airlock with powerful pumps to pump out water, and the cycle steps can be skipped it is quite popular and at least for me it proved to be a convenient solution in one of my unpublished builds. Maybe you should check it out and consider letting it control all the parts of airlocks, about author's consent to use it in someone's builds refer to the workshop page of the microcontroller. If you need a link, let me know. :)

the inner door of any airlock doesnt open for me even after 10 min

I think with equalizing pressure, there should be a bit of loose space, like it will take forever to equalize with only valves and door opening only when it is the same number containing like 6 or more decimals after the comma, it would be completely fine if the door opens when approximate pressure in the airlock is plus-minus 0.5 (or 0.1) atmospheres with the inside pressure, cus it takes forever to equalize so basically airlocks are not accessible from the inside because of how precise pressure it needs to equalize to open the door, not taking into account constant chaotic microchanges in pressure plus-minus 0.0001 atmosphere, example: inside pressure is 1.12, the airlock pressure is at 2, door closed, airlock pressure 1.2, door should open. Rn it is like 1.11 inside, and in the airlock is 1.12-1.13, door doesn't open, when it definitely should. Like if inside airlock pressure is 1.3, and the base pressure is around 1.23, it could be more than okay to open the airlock!

Seems the original reactor in its original assembly is fine with being underwater and has even higher temperature, and no problems working, it's not the one fixed by somebody, but the original one has been updated since too

You need to test if the reactor in its original form works underwater and doesn't encounter boiler getting too cold, if it does, then my suggestion is given.

You see, it works flawlessly on land, and maintains around 125 degrees in the boiler and generator just roars off the chart, but underwater if it has heatsinks connecting to the outside which i think is the separate closed chamber for the actual reactor itself the water around it has more cooling potential than air, and i guess the reactor is not accustomed to those changes after so many updates to how heat goes.

I may suggest to actually put the whole nuclear generator in the original form in its own room, you already have the "decontamination" checkpoint on the way to it in case of something going supercritical. And you could just make the inside or the outside layer out of weight blocks but not to the control panel on the wall, but to the whole nuclear generator package, connected to the Batteries by being merged with the room and connected to the batteries to charge or connected via connectors or cables.

if the buoy's flow of air is not enough then you could consider putting pumps on the buoy's themselves, and i can suggest the solution for the reactor stalling due to boiler getting below boiling temperature after a short while.

So with airlocks if you want faster water drainage you can pump in up to 4 atmospheres if sitting without a diving gear is accounted for, but since it will be faster with higher pressure and there are diving suits required, then you could technically pump in around 15 or 20 atmospheres of pressure to speed up the water drainage into the airlock, but then you would also need to equalize pressure with the inside of the base pressure, to make it safe to enter the base from the airlock. so you can purge a good portion of the pressure into the environment outside with gas relief valves and when it is like less or equal to 1.5 atmospheres then equalize with base side of the airlock with simple on/off valve between the airlock and the room before it with gas relief valves!

With airlocks there is also an additional element of players and npc's pressure tolerances, which seems to be a range of 0.2 to 4 atmospheres without any equipment (Diving, scuba, space suits), with diving gear the highest pressure that player can withstand without damage, is iirc about 22-25 atmospheres, but it does not help with low pressure cases, and player gets damage at the same 0.2 atmosphere iirc, on the other end of the spectrum there are space and space exploration suits, made for the vacuum of space, and extremely low temperatures of space, (like arctic outfit + scuba gear, not that much of high pressure tolerance, but all the way to vacuum and oxygen supply), space exploration suit being presumably with more oxygen capacity meaning more autonomy before needing to change or refill in the space seat.

Yeah with the pressure and gases update, the fastest way to pump out liquids or pump it somewhere else, is to maintain higher-than 1 atmosphere pressure in the source tank, vessel, compartment (the more, the faster flow it will be, max of 60 atmospheres which is a hard limit of the game's max pressure in any kind of closed space, gas tanks, etc.), and maybe as much vacuum as possible in the target closed space. (A good example is 454ss' Buckel Howdy Pump truck, paired with updated semi trailer tanks, the pump truck has a gas tank of pressurized air, to speed up transfering liquids from one tank to another, constantly filled by electric pumps and impellers, for more details check 454ss' workshop page and the video on the pump truck's page)

@seahawk, i did not do that on purpose so that the battery isn't drained/used before actually launched to keep the abilty to survive and be found as long as possible
