@Absolute_Solver_IsN

Try creating the world first and then once it's made, try going into the settings after that.

the game wont let me set it to creative on this map only, i have experimental on but the buttons are all grayed out.

why would you want to?

Can i somehow turn back GravityFalloff to 7 from 2?

Pertam and Europa get almost no solar power input (bare minimum 1%). They're about 6k away from the star.

What's the distance between the systems?
TheRebornAce 24 Apr, 2024 @ 5:37am
Yeah I think I might just start a new save. Be a lot more quicker. There were unstable issues anyways in the current save outside this issue. Thanks.
Echthros  [author] 23 Apr, 2024 @ 10:09pm
Though, you may be better off just making a new world from the current preset and moving any grids over manually. The old save had some stability issues baked into the planets that caused it to not load sometimes. The new preset has that issue fixed.

The Config.xml format got changed, so it broke the Configs that were made in the first couple weeks. I can fix your Config if you send it to me on Discord.

I seem to be experiencing the same issue TiGeR did. I haven't touched my save that uses this preset for over a month. And now that I am returning to it i notice the incorrect sun values are present. You mentioned you republished a fix already. Do i need to do something on my end to fix it?
Come and See 17 Apr, 2024 @ 9:50am
Started a new save and I spawned with zero energy on an earthlike planet I believe.
Echthros  [author] 26 Mar, 2024 @ 2:57pm
Think I found the issue. Republished with fix.
TiGeR 26 Mar, 2024 @ 8:13am
Thanks, but I loaded this preset without any problems 3 weeks ago. And I have a working world, the problem is that one of the updates reset the world to default values (wrong colors, wrong sun size, solar panels operating at only 10% power)
Creating a new world was supposed to give me only a Config.xml file that would fix my world, but unfortunately Config doesn't fix anything for me.
I'm playing survival slowly and I don't want to give up on my existing game just yet :)
Le Chop 26 Mar, 2024 @ 1:26am
@TiGeR I had the same problem loading the preset so i followed the steps and made my own solar system.
Le Chop 26 Mar, 2024 @ 1:21am
@TiGeR you can try my save i made last night for my new play through. has 2 moons and all the planets. you may have to check the load for mods when you load it the 1st time it may want to use my list not sure how SE works in that regard.

Can you post the error on my Discord (link on RealStars mod description)?
🍁BuzzedBear🍁 25 Mar, 2024 @ 10:15am
It kept crashing the startup of any game that I tried to include it in. This included a new game with only this mod installed.
TiGeR 24 Mar, 2024 @ 7:12pm
Currently, creating a world with this preset generates errors and immediately unloads to the menu. After adding the Real Stars mod to the saved world, the world will be created with a nice big sun, but the debug still reports errors. New Config.xml copied to the old world save doesn't fix anything for me (the sun is small and solar panels generate minimal energy)
I will add a bug report to the discussion.
TiGeR 24 Mar, 2024 @ 5:39pm
Nothing happened, sometimes something happens without our knowledge :)
Thank you for the information and best regards.
Echthros  [author] 24 Mar, 2024 @ 5:21pm
A change I published a few days ago caused the star Config.xml to regenerate, so existing star and planet config info was unfortunately lost (meaning all of the stars in the world reset to the default size/color/brightness/etc). I updated the Config.xml correctly in the published preset world if you create a new save from it and also posted the Config.xml as a pinned comment in the "real-stars" channel on my Discord if you'd rather download it from there. Sorry for the inconvenience!
TiGeR 24 Mar, 2024 @ 5:09pm
I found this parameter in the configuration file, SolarBlocksEffectivenessMin>0.01, I changed it to 1.
Now the solar panels are working at optimal power, I just hope I haven't spoiled anything else :)
TiGeR 24 Mar, 2024 @ 4:29pm
Hello
I have a question.
Has any world update changed the sun?
My large solar panels track the sun and provide a maximum power of only 16kW, which is only 10% of what they should be.
Wind turbines work well, maybe I still don't know something about the world, or some mod changes something for me.
However, I would like to ask here whether this is not a mistake.
Regards
TiGeR 12 Mar, 2024 @ 2:17pm
Now I understand, thank you.
Echthros  [author] 12 Mar, 2024 @ 11:46am
The day length is set per planet in the mod's Config.xml. You can set each planet's day to whatever you want. The global day length setting does not do anything.

Though, don't set the global day length to 0 or the sunlight won't be able to rotate at all.
TiGeR 12 Mar, 2024 @ 8:05am
Hello
I used this world and it's great.
I have a question about the length of the day. If I set different values for this setting in the world, I still have the impression that the length of the day is always the same. Is this how it's supposed to be?
Regards
TheRebornAce 8 Mar, 2024 @ 12:50am
Ah ok cool. Thanks!
Echthros  [author] 7 Mar, 2024 @ 8:33pm
You can change the star gravity in the Config.xml. It's all fully customizable.
TheRebornAce 2 Mar, 2024 @ 6:13pm
I'm curious. Will a separate version of a mod be required to have no gravity influence from the stars? kinda sucks that i cant jump to a planet faster out in the way distance since they cant operate in any form of gravity well. but i am here for the adventure so its not so bad.
Philanthrophalus 22 Feb, 2024 @ 12:33am
I like what you did here.
Echthros  [author] 21 Feb, 2024 @ 10:05am
Of course, you can build systems with whatever planets you want.
Varien Gaming 21 Feb, 2024 @ 8:53am
hey wondering if you could have made a modded planet star system with moded planets?
RaidRaiderHQ 21 Feb, 2024 @ 1:55am
ok nvm less than a minute after commenting this, i found one
RaidRaiderHQ 21 Feb, 2024 @ 1:53am
are there still ice lakes on the earthlike planet? i cant seem to find any
Echthros  [author] 19 Feb, 2024 @ 9:57pm
Done. Linked in the original mod description.
Drach'nyen 19 Feb, 2024 @ 2:31pm
can you make a version of this without asteroids?
darinreynolds90 19 Feb, 2024 @ 11:10am
nice i been waiting for something like this for awhile
