As for the music volume, I haven't played CK3 in a few months and loading up the game for the first time since the new update has made me notice the same thing. It used to be that tracks at a default volume would play way too loud in-game, much louder than the vanilla tracks. I had to reduce the volume of the CK2 tracks by about 80% to get them to sound 'normal'. It would seem that Paradox has now fixed this issue and I will now have to redo these mods from scratch. Hopefully it shouldn't take too long!
If it's base game tracks or those from other DLC you're hearing then I'm not sure what could be causing it. The file that this mod uses to disable the CK3 music is copy-pasted directly from the No CK3 Music version and (I assume?) that one is working fine.
Also, if you're in 'observer mode' or otherwise not playing as any character for an extended period of time then the is_ai = yes trigger I use to prevent CK3 tracks playing for the player might not work correctly in that instance. I haven't tested this though but I swear this is the only time I've ever heard any CK3 tracks play when they weren't supposed to.
