All of the world textures are either Half Life 2 or Garry's mod, only things from Day of Defeat would be some of the models on the beach

Cool map, but I cant see any textures, and I have l4d 1/2 and day of defeat installed and yet it still shows no texture

There is an .ain file packed with the addon, but Im unable to set the version number of it to match the map version so if you have "ai_norebuildgraph 0" then it will always rebuild a new empty one, as I used a tool ingame to place them as opposed to placing hints in the editor

Looks like the AI nodes don't actually work. The .ain file size is 1 KB. Other than that, great update!

Yeah, me too. For some motivation, just know that there are people who care about your map and think it is great. I love how large it is and the overall layout is great when I use the Day of Defeat: Source SNPCs and set up spawners and flags for a conquest. Me and my friend spent a couple hours just solely doing that, and it was a lot of fun.

Theres some minor changes to the structure of the map which might invalidate it already, but don't worry as I've already got one setup, just making models for the map now, just delayed by my job

I might work on the navmesh for this map, it'd be awesome. I have everything to do it in game lol. It will take some time though.

Im taking my time with it, finally broke down and got into modelling again, I needed some models made specifically for the new 3D skybox, so its taking a lot longer than I originally thought

ah, I've always had mat_specular disabled because multicore rendering requires it disabled

What I think that other guy means by "add cubemaps" is that there is the shining issue with all weapons that have the effect. The toolgun for example shines very brightly, and the only way to fix it is to type mat_specular 0 in the console or to get an external mod like improved default cubemap to automatically start with mat_specular off.

I've already got nodes setup, just going to do a large update when its all finished, as for cubemaps they should be already present unless they didn't embed correctly

I made AI Nodes for the map. Is there any way you could implement them? It was a pain to actually make them, and the file size of the ai nodes is about 360 KB, but I think it would be great to implement if there is a way to send them.

I'm working on repacking it as well as some other large changes (significant 3D skybox being one), as for the bright surfaces, try disabling bloom?

I don't know why that would happen with this map, this doesn't have any Lua scripts, you likely have another addon that conflicts with Simphys
