Please note, if you have a wall of screaming red errors, please either ignore them (not recommended) or disable all your mods, and repopulate them to remove any issues caused by the name changes in the 7th April 2024 update

@Ignis Values were based off a steel version of the laser turret. It's vanilla peers are limited to steel, which was used as the base, but the laser turret limited to plasteel rather than steel. What I forgot to do was re-calculate the HP value. This has now been corrected, and the laser turret is subsequently much tankier.

Regarding the mini-laser: unlike it's parent, the mini-turret was supposed to have metallic flexibility, but I forgot to add the field. This has also been fixed. It's accuracy was actually correct, but short and long range values were accidentally swapped. This has also been fixed.

Finally, this is a game, not IRL and so I went with sci-fi movies as a basis for accuracy - to which my turrets are actually much more accurate XD

Also, why high-tech laser turrets are so inaccurate? A real world laser turret made by enthusiast 10 years ago was able to precisely zap flying mosquitos with perfect accuracy.

Are mini turrets meant to be so fragile? Basic mini-turret has almost twice as much HP (if made of plasteel like laser one). Range is also quite lacking.

That small one should be ... is now minifyable, given it's a mini-turret. I appear to have missed adding it last night, but it was like 3am and I was working on the Chaingun Turret in tandem - since I figured if this was gonna be the late game upgrade to the miniturret , there should be a mid-way upgrade too.

I hope you will consider making the turrets, or at least the smaller one uninstallable. Sweet mod either way.

Thanks, I redid the guns too, so they pop more, and added the blue energy cells so they match the turret. Lasers should always be blue IMO. Incidentally, the shots are blue too :P

I love the new laser turret texture you got going there. Very slick and vanilla friendly in art :steamhappy:
