Glad to know that works!

I fixed it by deleting the ship sizes file the other user mentioned

Not surprised - it hasn't been updated for a long time. Once PDX have finished patching 4.+ I will take a look into this and make fixes.

This seems to prevent bioship sets from having stations, science ships, and construction ships

Glad to hear! However, I will not be patching Stellaris mods any more until Paradox fix the horrible 4.0 release of the game. Once it's been stabilised, I will update my mods =)

I have found the problem with this mod about unable building NSC3 ships
NSC3 updated its common/ship_sizes files after the update of stellaris 4.0 and deleted the game start MOD configuration window and the corresponding flags about allowing the nsc3 ship building but this mod still using the old version of the file about common/ship_sizes on NSC3.

Having an issue with the cruisers. The normal cruisers can't be made because they're missing a mystery component that doesn't exist and there are floating guns on the strike cruisers.

I'm not sure - as I've said with my other mods, I'll take a look into it once Paradox finish this patching cycle.

Sorry, I also removed this patch and now I can build NSC3 ships.
Why?

This wont affect any of that - from what I remember it simply changes the model layout.

Ship building problems are not related to this mod.

Moreover, it will also lead to the inability to build explorationships

After testing, it will cause the ships of nsc3 to be unable to be built, and the cruiser model remains abnormal.

In which case great - No need to keep it =)

So i did some testing and this mod not only breaks the whole of NSC mod, but its also now redundant since United Fleet now has NSC support integrated
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [author] 8 May @ 10:47am
It should be; from what I recall it doesn't affect the new files (for United Fleet anyways).

Test it and if there are any problems, let me know!

Is this still good with 4.0?
Ezra-Bridger 4 Apr @ 3:20am
Ignore my other comment, found out it was a mod conflict

The Frigates don't have models, are those planned for the future or no?
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [author] 12 Apr, 2024 @ 1:06am
I have absolutely no idea why it would cause conflicts, considering the files edited by this mod are the ship types and sizes. Doesn't touch individual modules.....

for whatever strange reason, this is completely incompatible with https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3140138234 & https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3128860257

This patch is forcing the equip loadouts on the right side of the ship designer to be "vanilla" or default NSC, and it doesn't matter which load order I put this patch on, before or after it still affects both. I'm guessing this file messes with 00_ship_sizes.txt according to the one that Better Reactor Boosters also messes with? (But why is it also affecting it if I put BSB after this one in the load order?)
