Agreed, its a sorely missed vibe you dont see much in any video game any more I feel, especially how coherent the environments were too, like how you can see pinna park from the main island and vice versa, its very cool.

Thank you, by the way, do you have any plans on porting Mario Sunshine maps like this? Not enough map ports are as nice as this is, a Delfino Plaza port of this quality would be huge, since only trade ports from TF2 exist for it.

You can turn off the music in options menu, all my maps have working music sliders.
(It turns it down separately to sound slider)

Yeah, I have years of experience in both, so it would take a while just to learn how to actually make maps, let alone learn modeling tools too.

Never too late to learn though!

If you are actually interested in learning how to make maps I would suggest just searching up "Hammer gmod level tutorial" first before any of that.

I used "Hammer editor" which is included in the files of garrysmod and other source engine games and blender to import and export the map as a model into hammer.

You will need some knowledge with blender (modeling tool) to import the level, and actually have the bianco hills model ready too if you dont already, also you will need to generate (make) your own collisions for the map.

There sadly isnt many tutorials out there and its kind of complex, but if you know how to make maps, and know how to import props you are basically half way there already.

So basically, you will need: Hammer Editor, Blender, Blender source tools and the bianco hill model to start.

Thank you so much for making this incredible map! Super Mario Sunshine is my favourite Mario game and this brings back so many fond memories of playing the game too! I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves this amazing game and I would love to see more [No pressure or anything lol] anyways have an amazing day and all!

It would be a perfect opportunity if you did it for the summer. Now not only that's the most wanted map I want in source, my second most wanted map I want in source is Seaside Kingdom from Odyssey. I don't know how difficult would it be to import that because we have never had a single map from SMO on the GMOD workshop itself, however the closest thing we could have from map like that is this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=734919940

Thanks I appreciate it, I will probably do more ports in the future when I have time or feel like it, these are sadly kind of spontaneous things I do lol, so I cant always really control when the next time I will do something like this is. If I were to do another though, gelato beach is definitely on the list of ones I would port. :steamhappy:

Bruh I've always dreamed about this being in source especially for this game. In fact I have been dreaming about others from Sunshine such as Gelato Beach like dude, when will you able to do that one? Because it is on VRChat, speaking of the one from that game is a recreation so you could probably use assets from that to put it in source (if possible).

I would pay you 50 bucks if you could bring my most wanted map into source.
