Okay, so I checked whath appens when you ran it in V1.6 in detail. The RACE works, but the Honey Capsules do not. Pawns try to put things in it, but it simply fails.

I just tested it, and it loads and works without any serious errors. However, there are some changes that need to be made.

ProfileName thats intend they are not meant to be run together but the ID is the same to allow the addons to work for both and not throw a sisy fit when it doesnt detect Continued

Funny problem: New Age is incompatible with "itself" (the Continued version). I think you forgot to change the mod ID names.

Dude, there is a difference between a HAR Race and a Xeno-Human. Humanoid Alien Race Mod creatures are a completely different species from man , while Xenotypes are literally humans with speciation. This uses the HAR Mod for that reason and, in addition, it means people can enjoy the Mod without buying an Expansion Pack.

any advice on armor for the Apini? it's inevitable for them to get into a kerfuffle..and die. and the armor i know of doesn't fit on them

Alright, so according to Sarg of Vanilla Expanded, the insect herder hive should be a handling job, and thus fine. Let me know if you find anything buried in the code that could explain this, or any other information you need from me.

ok so i can confirm that it is not any of my the mods or dlcs because i just disabled all of my mods and dlcs and it is still having this issue so i dont know what is causing this issue

i keep having this issue where whenever a bee tries to fill a honey capsule where the just freeze in place and the text that tells me what they are doing is rapidly swapping between "Filling Honey Capsule" and "Standing" and is lagging out my game i have tried removing my other mods to find out if one of them is the problem but none of them seem to be causing the issue so at the current moment i have no idea what is causing it

So I messaged FSF and they say that their mod doesn't touch that. Furthermore, when I open the work tab, what mod is that from says that the honey maker work type is from this mod, while the other job types are from complex jobs. I''m going to try talking to the vanilla expanded devs and I'll let you know what comes from that.

By the way, according to the work tab, honey maker uses cooking. Attached is a screen shot I took of my work tab.

I will go ask there, but I use the legacy version, due to his warning about updates and breaking saves. I am doubtful he will update the legacy version to change that, but I'll give it a shot. Thank you!

Ben havent had the time to proper look into the issue yet, but when i was scimming through the work defs for the maintenance it was listed as under handling for its work type so might be complex jobs shifting it around maybe (this is only guess work but its better than nothing currently <3)

Ben, I’ll try and have a quick look what I can do in the morning it might be making a patch to allow insect herders to be able to the honey making category but won’t know till I check tomorrow

Hey guys, I'm back. I'm running into something a bit annoying; the honey maker job type is preventing my insect herdler from vanilla ideology expanded from interacting with the insect nests, as the role disables a large suite of job types, including honey maker jobs. Since hive maintainence falls in that category, my herders cannot do hive maintainence, and only insect handlers can do so. Is this a known issue? It isn't game breaking, but it does prevent me from making full use. I also use the legacy version of complex jobs by FrozenSnowFox, if that is relevant.

Thought: Though the Beeswax tiles can be beautiful enough(In-game beauty), it seems for research and cleanliness you're still using steel, silver and sterile tiles. I wonder if something could, or even should, be thought about this?

@Corrupted Glitch thanks for the explanation. I had no idea that HAR had an ability to blacklist genes now. I haven't used it in over a year because of how easy it was to cause damage to my save. At the time it was fresh out of the beta for 1.4, and was in a really rough state. I'll have to give some HAR mods a chance once the modding scene settles down after 1.5. I had been frustrated with how biotech handled non-bipedal races for a while now. As much fun as it is to give a mermaid bionic legs, it sucks that I have to do it when one of her "legs" gets shot off. Even something as simple as a tail doesn't have a real limb for it under the biotech system.

I can confirm from what I've experienced that XML extension breaks some of the races. Apinis become invisible and throw more error than without extensions.

I have hugslib, I just don't know what to do to have it output to a place I can access. I tried removing xml extensions and all reliant mods, and that seems to have solved the problem. Thank you for your help!

So I tried uninstalling the old apini mod, and I also tried the fix suggested to ME, and neither worked. I tried a new colony, and the apini are still invisible.

I also do not have github, so I don't know if I can post the logs...I can copy them to the clipboard and pm them, or do you have another suggestion?

ME can you try unsubbing from HAR waiting like 20 seconds then resubbing to it (suggestion from HAR discord) if there is a error at the start and trying a new save and tell me if there is a error at the start

Dae_Shinzo kinda strange as i didn't have that issue through testing or playthroughs. also to answer your question currently yes its meant to be baseliner(we are currently working on pawn redraws along with bee genes in the process so that will change. but yer just booted up the game to retest and they seem to research the project just fine, can you make sure you havent loaded the apini continued too

for some reason even when assigned to do research my apini cannot research the Apini basics and is the Xenotipe icon for apini suposed to be a baseliner?, i recently wanted to play the mod again but it works as if it were only a human with wings, i will still keep it on but am sad 'cause i cant do Bee things, maybe im missing something and being a dumdum xD
