It would be really funny, if that one trailer was a major inspiration behind the aesthetic of this map :D really funny. Anyway, if you want to start modding, official Ravenfield's Discord server is still active. You "just" need time, willpower and keeping ambitions small at first.

I just love this map, it reminds me a lot of the marathon adaptation being developed by bungie. would absolutely adore more maps in this style, maybe with some different colour schemes throughout the level to really show off that beautiful baked lighting.
It sort of makes me want to get into mod development myself so I could throw together some guns and skins to really fit the style…

While I have not encountered (or haven't recognised) the problem that you had, if you could share screenshots on Ravenfield's official Discord server (map-making channel), it could be easier for me to look further into the problem.

goes really well with remixed Splatoon music, also generally a map that I have been wondering how it would work making such a short range map in such a long range game. but it sadly has a bit of a lighting problem when I don't turn it to night mode, such problems being small things like guns appearing dark win a bright lit room and the inverse also being true
