@Gaduka: This patch is outdated and should not be used. The original Enhanced Reactors already comes with lua improvements by now and those should be working fine with the Baroverhaul Patch.

Hello, great mod, maybe you can make patch to let it be compatible with Baroverhaul Enhanced Reactors Patch ?

That's nice to hear! Keep up the great mods!

@Gordon Freeman, PhD: I'm not maintaining the patch as I don't understand lua code. ironic_and_dead is the one writing the patch.
He just added me to the project in case I do need to update some XML part of the patch, but the XML is fine and the lua code is currently the issue with stuff not working as intended.

ironic is currently not able to work on the mod and I've already got someone else working on a direct lua performance integration for the original Enhanced Reactors mod.
The update should hopefully arrive sometime in october.

The outpost type reactors seem to not spew out radiation when damaged beyond 75%. I've heard you mention on some stream that you forgot to add the fix for those when making the patch. Would it be possible for you to update it so they do? Either way i seem to have fixed it with a very simple modification to the lua script.

@_]|M|[_ Indeed, I was using Immersive Repairs Lua Patch. Now when I turned it off from my modlist, Enhanced Reactors lua patch works as intended! Thank you.

@Волк с Луз стрит, @zeyv: Are you perhaps using Immersive Repairs Lua Patch as well? We've recently noticed it's breaking this patch. I recommend using Enhanced Reactors Lua only for now since that is gaining you a the bigger performance increase.

Same problem that has Волк с Луз стрит - radiation doesn't work, active rod doesn't emiting any radiation.

and again, I am your servant attracting bugs and a little bit of mudraptors, but a little bit :D

I play with deathwish + EHA, in the submarine editor with the lua version when pulling out the nuclear (active) rod, there is no radiation and other effects, only glow and if you take burns in your hands, and also continues to break objects and the walls. And the reactor also behaves strangely, all its sliders move to 100% even without wires.

As soon as I remove enchanted reactor lua from the list of mods, it immediately works correctly.

@CaptainBadger Thank you for pointing this out, its been fixed.
CaptainBadger 4 mai 2024 la 11:32
These have been activated fuel rods, used up in the reactor, and then either attempted to be recycled or deconstructed.
ironic_and_dead  [autor] 4 mai 2024 la 5:43
@CaptainBadger, can you confirm these are activated fuel rods? or fuel rods that have not been inserted into the reactor?
CaptainBadger 4 mai 2024 la 0:58
My apologies M, but I forgot to mention that the issues I've been having with fuel rods catching the Fabricator/Deconstructor on fire have also been happening with this mod, I don't know if there's any relation to which version of the mod is being run, I just thought it would help to know.

Will the xml version still be updated?
RTO700 29 apr. 2024 la 1:05
A big issue: when using exosuit from other mod, like BT and immersive diving suit, your character and surrounding would get radiated and burned. (just the lue version, the xml one works fine)
_]|M|[_  [autor] 27 apr. 2024 la 3:00
@CaptainBadger: Yeah the performance heavy xml code was transfered to lua instead. However it comes with less accurate radiation spreading. And by that I mean that the radiation from fuel rods is only applied to your character, if the fuel rod item is within your character's line of sight.

Ironic is also working on converting this mod to a patch rather than it being a standalone so that compatibility patches for other mods continue to work.
CaptainBadger 27 apr. 2024 la 2:27
So, this essentially transfers the performance load of enhanced reactors from XML to Lua, that's it?

I'm just trying to figure out why I would want to keep using the original version over this if that's the case, well, outside of it requiring Lua, that is.
_]|M|[_  [autor] 18 apr. 2024 la 20:56
@RTO700: Less performance heavy than the xml version.
RTO700 18 apr. 2024 la 2:18
what's the advantage of the lua version?
