i looked into the hearthpyre code and no it is not. hearhpyre is extremly incompatible with other mods. The way it is written the dev of hearthpyre needs to create an xml object for each and every item that can be build with hearthpyre. And yes. He made his own chests and floors. its ridiculous. Look at this for example:
<object Name="HearthpyreGasBurner" Inherits="Gas Burner">
<removepart Name="ElectricalPowerTransmission" />
<removepart Name="ChargeSink" />
<tag Name="ExcludeFromDynamicEncounters" />
</object>
The more i think about this the less likely i think it will ever happen that you will build my forges in hearthpyre. Its up to him to give me some kind of tag i could add so he auto includes every furniture with that specified tag. However my parts are powered parts and hes removing power related parts from included objects, which in turn would render my objects inoperable. Soooooo i suggest just roleplaying and wishing for the forges.
Only problem is: Im banned from the discord and thus dont know in advance when the next breaking update will be so i dont really know when to push my breaking update...
wat. mind = blown.
ill check on that.

@fuzzyweapon i was planning to publish the mod on github, but then i got banned on the discord and now the codebase remains private and under private license as i dont want my work go to waste but i also dont want to support fascists in any way. I do this so i can ensure the code staying under MY control and if this crazy community want to make their own so they dont need to use a mod made by someone who thinks they are modern fascists they will need to write it themselves. If you want to know how disturbingly fucked up they are: one of them downvoted all my mods at once. Thats literally the first downvote each of them has so i know for sure that its just because the individual is simply crazy.

About arrows, if 20 arrows -> nugget, can't you just buy 20 arrows for 0.01 a pop and sell them for the price of a nuggie? I think it should be like 1k arrows/nuggie smelt or non-smeltable at all, because it's a ridiculous amount. Maybe add an intermediary size, like "piece", where 10 piece = 1 nuggie, so you can do 100 arrows smelt per piece and like 10 arrows per piece forge?
Also Ezra is crashing on my own save. Every map that crashes has to be visited without the mod loaded first.
I am yet to learn how to not break save games. I really dont know how that map fuckery happend.
I am sorry. My own save is affected too if that makes you feel better x.x
1 nugget => 10 Arrows,
20 Arrows => 1 nugget
fair?
-Added Katanas, Aegis, some knifes and polearms.
-Reworked Smelter to be more modular and able to work on large input
-Stepped up my modding game with internal object versioning to break less save games in the future
-Added tiles for abilities.
-Fixed some typos.
That would only make sense for iron and copper. For all other materials it would be lore unfriendly
All of those are on my List, thanks for your feedback.
I just did an entire overwork of the smelter to be more modular and work on any amount of inventory. Also i stepped up my modding game by using versioned classes that update themselfes on loading so smaller updates to parts will not be braking saves in the future.
All this will be added when the beta goes live next Week.
Also to warn you, as i played for a while with this mod i realized i need to tweaksmelt values a little. Expect lower gains from smelting object after the next update.
I think there are quite a few items missing from the list of possible smelting options, like the aegis (shields), vinereapers, all of the alt steel knives (butchers, kukri, utility, potters) and the iron kris.
i think it would also be cool to see compatibility with spears/glaives mod from gravenwitch.
No they are not but thats an awesome hint. Ill add it to there
Also if I understand the description correctly, forgeable items are randomized for each playthrough? I love this if true
Also traders will now have forging currencies in stock
I tested on the closed preview and it worked fine, so i guess its beta compatible?
Let me know if there are any issues.
