Yeah, I know.. I'm looking into rewritting the mod and re-releasing it separately, making some things simpler and less confusing, and just purging it from any bugs/crashes but not sure when that will be done

This mod causes constant crashes when generating new maps. An error appears saying something like “object reference not found”. I know it's this mod because I tried one by one and only by removing this mod my game stopped crashing.

Too bad, it's a very immersive mod and I love it.

Rewrote GetAvailableActions patch, could be a fix to that crash but not sure. Also, character now walks to closest entrance of the building to lock/unlock.

Clean Trash
Targetable Trash
Pick Mushrooms
Choose Backpack
XtraLargePAck

So the crash must be coming from Locked Buildings, Clean Trash or Choose Backpack. Having stared at the code for a while I'm not sure which though! Thought it might be because of my recent updates but in a quick test none of these 3 patches seem obviously broken, so it could be some more subtle issue that's been around for a while. Maybe you'll have more of an idea?

I cant do a screen shot of it, as the save is corrupt, and my new splay through I've left the mod out for now, sorry.

Do you think you could make a screen capture of the message not showing? I have a patch for the crash but I'll wait to make sure that the other thing is fixed

Happened just after unlocking a building, also on the menu that pops up, the crowbar and tire iron have no "unlock with" message next to them, just shows the weapons but not the unlock with message.

In recipes the top 2 have no ingredients, maybe this is why my games crashing?

Ah I see! So the action to Unlock is visible even if you aren't near a building to unlock? What's your mod list like? Maybe it's interferring with another one of my mods. Sorry for so many questions, got to make sure this thing is bug-free

It all works fine up close, but it gives you the option to unlock from anywhere with any weapon/tool it will do the animation where ever you are standing and will use a Weapon/tool but won't unlock anything, as I said works 100% up close. :)

So it's still using the lockpick/tool and not unlocking it ? I'll look into it this evening, but might take me a while to find another solution

I can't play without this mod, it really brings value to the game, but there is a bug, your able to unlock from anywhere, it does the animation and uses a weapon, but doesn't actually unlock anything, works fine if your up close.

My man, you are the GOAT of the SIS modding community right now. Your mods go beyond just adding new types of items, NPCs, etc. You're doing things I literally didn't think were mechanically possible to implement into this game.
