For those experiencing the missing Oni error with the Long Spiked Mace - Standalone

consider downloading this version: Oni.mod Fix

It's the same mod, but the file name has been fixed to prevent the missing Oni error from occurring together with Empire Reborn

Typo in “Heng (override) prosperous” town state. World state “Lord Yoshinaga is not alive” should be 1 instead 0.

For those having issues with missing Oni mod....

Go to workshop folder...content...then 233860 which is the kenshi workshop folder

Locate folder 1899477153. Rename the .mod file there from Oni_Mace.mod to Oni.mod

Will have to re-order the mod in the list.

hello. I think i should text here. my kenshi modlist says i miss oni mod. But i cant find it anywwhere. İ need it for UN armor expansion.

Double nvm, I checked, Tengu will have the bow but not the katana unless you load the Tengu mod under the Crossbow expansion, and even then he'll be wearing some of the clothes from CE instead of the awesome ones Cat made.

The reference mod "Oni" seems to have been renamed to "Oni_Mace" so the game says I'm missing that reference mod. Not a major problem but I figured I should mention it.

I had issues purchasing slaves from any of the traders with this mod active. There would be no one listed to buy and the trader was often stuck on objects

l like the idea yes, it sounds logical that they would start at least some kind of unrest, maybe i could make it so that Catun becomes the new capital and the nobles fight for the throne

Thats fair, i think it would be really cool to see some kind of power struggle in the south, maybe one closer to a mix of what the bast war is and the base civil war but if you think its best left untouched than thats fine too. I just feel like the different cities down there have a lot of power that would get to the nobles head if left without a founding empire to support it. (Catun having weapon manufacturing and Drifters Last for food)

@Minato Aqua Is God For the time being no, mostly because i feel like they would be a lot more independent from Tengu itself since their vanilla worldstates dont even involve him, so i dont think his dead would cause a civil war in the south

Oh, i just want to ask just to be sure, are the southern Empire cities supposed to be involved in the civil war too with their own nobles?

So after killing Nagata (who was in a united cities faction and the city he was in was controlled by UC) the Nagata forces controlling Fort Sinoge and Port North have not disappeared. Sho-Battai is also under Empire Peasant control now. A lot of weird things happening around the Nagata faction.

So, i killed Tengu and most of the cities are run by their respective group but Sho battai is still under United Cities rule for some reason. One thing i'd like to suggest is making the cities a little bit more functional, a lot of the buildings are ruined and shinobis/shops get removed/shuffled around which makes them feel a bit worse. I understand they're at war but it would be nice to still have those cities as valuable places. Would love to see a way to make other groups stronger/hold more cities in the future if possible but whats here is already really cool. Thanks for the mod in advance.

@SandyStoe It should be compatible with pretty much any city mods as long as they dont completely change the factions or similar things

That's weird, when i was making the mod the Holy Nation winned every time so i shrinked their squad sizes a little, must have over-nerfed them, will fix it, and yes sadly making it compatible with other clothing-related mods is very dificult as there are too many of them to make individual patches, but still im glad you enjoyed it!

Honestly love this mod and the idea behind it. I did a quick playthrough with this and Bast War and had a blast! Only problem I found was that I don't think I saw the Holy Nation win a single battle even when I was playing as them lol.

The only thing keeping me from using this as a staple in most of my playthroughs is that i use Legendary of Kenshi which gives unique armor to many strong npcs like the samurai elite and the noble guards and this mod causes them to have very mismatched outfits. Though imagine that could just be the required armor mods themselves.

All that being said whenever I'm not using Legendary this is a must in my load order. :steamthumbsup:

Thanks for the reply, I figured that the mod which caused it was Talkative Kenshi. This mod gave names to almost every character and didn't mention it on it's page description. Turned it off and now it works normal.

Hi! Thx for the aprecciation and I just ran the collection with Kaizo and i coudnt find any named characters beside the ones added by Kaizo, sergeants and the such.

Are you running any dialogue+ mods? Theres one that makes almost every character have a name but does not mention it in the description

Cool mod. Just downloaded along with the whole collection and playing it. So far I am enjoying it.

After starting my new play through I noticed that most of the characters are named, including the police and samurais. It kind of confuses me who is who. Do you know what mod in your collection could do that, so I could create a patch to change it? I am playing with Kaizo too, but didn't see this mod to name generic characters in FCS.

only thing i can imagine causing a crash is reactive world, i disabled it and still crashed. ill try some more and see

@ORBPONDERER i've tested for a while and haven't been able to get any crashes, if you have other mods that edit UC worlstates that might be it, i will release a compatibility list as soon as i finish testing.

This mod causes a crash anytime i enter the great desert idk why
