Report a translation problem
- Ranch map for GB Checkpoint should now have invisible walls fixed.
- pass on laptop positions to check adequate space for hacking etc.
Someone reported in the discord issues about mods.
Probably best to report the issue in the discord or through the bug reporter.
I can't interact with it, my character walks in place unable to type.
There are still a few bugs in 1035 (one being .SetTeamAttitude which was previously used to have the main opfor and the civs as different teams which did not try and kill each other).
The only way to spawn in civs at the moment is to give them the main opfor team id (otherwise the main opfor will just gun them down). This will also enable the civs to throw grenades at you.
Thanks!
Anyone else getting this?
- no civs as some of the lua code is broken by BFS (reported), similarly no advanced TH and no intel retrieval tjl mod
- appears to take a long time (several minutes minimum 10minutes or so for random killhouse) to load into the maps now. reported to BFS.
- Opfor AI assets updated with new models etc.
Default max time for the gamemodes is 2 hrs which is too much.
do you have the log file, and if so does it give any indication to what caused the crash?
New mode, Random Killhouse in very early development. This mode will take a while to download.
Love the watch guiding to laptop, and the fresh batch of bots for each checkpoint area.
I would agree with previous post from Jon Conley though, we really didn't prefer having any barriers to our movement. I get the reason behind it, but even back in Insurgency, the "No Restricted Areas" mutator was an every day driver for me. If they are needed for bots, can they be just for bots? I play very casual and if I get the urge to go over behind the barn and burn one for a bit...,
About the respawns. It was just two of us and both admins, we were always able to respawn ourselves back to ready room and then to play area using the default admin menu.
If it were to become possible, what would be really sweet is if we could always respawn next to the most recent laptop, in one go, w/o a stopover in the ready room.
Thanks for making.
The respawn window is only 15 seconds once a sector laptop is captured (it takes about 3 seconds to cycle the respawn laptop during this period). The code to get this working may interfere with admin commands - I am not sure and this is part of the lua coding which is not that well documented. Having said that, having people being artificially revived or brought into the round is at odds with the premise of the checkpoint gamemode.
As admin, I was also unable to res myself or other players from time to time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Also, the respawn mechanic is not explained very well and players are confused as to how to do it. Is there a hard limit on "waves"? Perhaps that's what happens when I'm trying to admin-res players?
Overall, a very interesting game mode. I think the artificial boundaries shouldn't physically constrict players, personally, but I assume it's to cover up bot spawning?
new update uploaded with some fixes a few hours ago.
