Where's the LAM?

Guys, I’m gonna be completely honest with you, I’ll do my best to try and fix it, but at the end of the day, it’s just a mod. I’m not trying to calculate perfect zeroes to their life-like counterparts. If the zero is really a huge issue then it will be fixed, but if it’s not as necessary then it’s going to be overlooked.

I’m here to put cool weapons people will like into the game. I’m not going to be devoting a bunch of time into the technical fixes as much because I barely have the time to make mods anymore. I will do what I can though.

The zero distance is still incorrect; the BFS Mk23 is point of aim/point of impact, but yours hits ~6-8" low at 25m. Head to the training range, place irons over the top of the 25m target, and observe impact on target head.

During some testing, I was able to attain 25m PoA/PoI by setting the zero to 100m.

@AsukaMyWife the ballistics the MK23 uses is the exact same as the 1911.

The hit point may be not correct, it performs more like 9mm rather than .45 ACP, and I'd be grateful if you could check this.

Thank you! I love MK.23 so much!

@Absolute_Dakka I do have a red dot mount for it. At some point I will update the mod to include attachment options like that (similar to the MP5 handguards).

Would love a custom/modified version that can accept a red dot.

OK, if you go to 27.3 yards using the rangefinder, the rounds still hit far below the point of aim. You can aim over the top of the CSAT and the round will still hit.

@Knite Yards and metres aren't the same thing.
Knite 8 Sep, 2024 @ 10:21am
Iron sights have too much elevation, rounds hit low at 25 yards. Mark 23 "battlesight zero" is point of aim, point of impact at 25m.

Legit so fun to use, it has a good amount of power to it CQB.

@sAp1 the USP came out AFTER the MK23. The USP is essentially the MK 23's little brother.
sApieNz 28 Aug, 2024 @ 12:54pm
The cooler USP

@boop I will check out the zeroing, thanks for pointing it out.

@Stryker Block suppressor is unlikely, but the LAM should be coming once attachment modding support and the DBAL-PL are added

zero seems to be a bit low, compared to the bfs Mk23 and vanilla 1911

Noooooooice; loved the m1911 replacement version, hope this could get added to the game as its own gun in the future
