This is the actual representation of the henryistan residence. As you can see the decay of the old soviet architecture has continued despite the constant efforts of reconstruction, leaving us to think that is it just normal structural decay, or does it show the decay of his inner soul. (Please remove raping of underage persona)

But, on a serious note, it's a simple map but it's decent one by that, it reminds me of a khrushchevka of how tiny it is and he really nailed the aesthethics. Can't wait to see what he will do in the future.

Inconspicuous Residence, without a shadow of doubt, one of, if not, my favourite map of all time, it is an absolute roller coaster of emotions that can hardly be put into words, and, after hundreds of hours of playing this map, I can say; it is completely worth it.
JasonHaze 10 Jul, 2024 @ 11:29am
The map itself is new, being released in 2024 after 4 years in the making starting in 2022, after the tragic loss of SCP-RPV7. it functions as an add on to the game, 'Garrys's mod', which can be found in the workshop section, under 'maps'. It is, undeniably, heavily flawed and will crash a lot unless you know how to mediate the problem. However, I stand to believe that its positives outweigh the negatives in almost every aspect, and, aside from this, it is important to acknowledge one important fact; the map wasn’t made by a professional team, but rather, a small one of about a dozen primary developers and auxiliaries, Team Geiser, leaded by Henry Johnstone, and accompanied by his loyal followers, Brad Geiser, Keneki Frost, Atilla Szellem, Josh 'Butt' Tate, Alan 'just kiss me' Miller, and Joe Connor.

One of the first things that stick out to most people who do any sort of research on the map, is that it does not look anything like GM_Hyperhouse, and as stated above, this is because the map maker they were working on was different to Hammer, known as Wall Worm plug-in for 3ds Max. To add to the map's immersion and gameplay, a load of things were also made from scratch, such as the door animation, map ambience system, the textures, &c, &c.
JasonHaze 10 Jul, 2024 @ 11:29am
But the map didn’t always look so good, lots of details, and most notably, the majority of the living room of Inconspicuous residence, went through multiple reworks before becoming what we know today. There is lots to appreciate about Inconspicuous residence (from now on IR) when it comes to visuals, effects & mapping. The map takes place on the cold, dark, streets of Stockholm and a lot of effort was put into making this be as immersive as it can get. The mapping was done by an in-experienced, ambitious LARPER, with the maps surprisingly being very well put together & optimised, with some parts of the map being made after a real-life place, things like textures & sounds are also taken from the actual city of Stockholm through photographs & recordings. All of these, in turn, create realistic atmospheres & places which feel completely normal.
JasonHaze 10 Jul, 2024 @ 11:29am
All that I’ve just stated above, coupled with the maps incredible ambience, work perfectly together in an almost disturbing harmony. The ambience, just like the mapping, was made by someone experienced, that someone being Brad Geiser, someone who had been making fire sound effects outside of IR, and this shows. The ambience features about a hundred different sound effects, which go perfectly with the atmosphere which the map radiates. Some of the best, and this is agreed on by many, are 'Fax Machine' 'Fz' and 'GET OUT'
JasonHaze 10 Jul, 2024 @ 11:29am
As stated in the first paragraph, the map does have it’s negatives, and this is not only limited to the way it runs, but to some things more than that. And of those, is undeniably, the early voice acting. As I’ve noted previously, the map was made by a small team, and not all of these people were fully trained in what they were doing, and one of these people, was fz's (the maps ambience) voice actor, Brad Geiser, known as BabyBoyRager, however, it does get better over time. In the 2 years the game was in development, Geiser gained more and more experience in his field, and in his own words, “it makes for good character development”.
JasonHaze 10 Jul, 2024 @ 11:28am
The map isn’t very big, and usually does not take more than 1 minute to explore if you know what you’re doing, with most people taking about 2 on a first playthrough, however, there are reasons to keep playing. The map has a high amount of replayability, this refers to unlockables which you can get throughout the experience, such as ambience experience, W-G references and other similar Easter eggs, custom textures, multiplayer co-op functions, functions to run custom game modes, &c &c.

I don’t even have enough energy to start talking about the story of IR, but keep the following mind; it is very complicated, very good, and does get very very emotional.

Inconspicuous Residence is a game worth every minute you spend on it, and if you haven’t already, I highly encourage you to play it.

All my best regards go out with Team Geiser
Farewell.

I have fallen head over heels in love with this map without question. I always love it every time I come into contact with it because there is a lot of things that I admire about it, and it brings so much joy to me. The attention to detail here is amazing as the map captures more than just geographical features but also the subtle nuances of the landscape. The colors are rich and captivating hence making it an interesting item to gaze at for longer durations.

The precision and accurateness in which this map was created cannot go unnoticed by anyone who comes across it. It is evident that much thought and care have been put in order to make sure that every part of this product is accurately presented thereby increasing its general attractiveness. Be it the intricate depiction of topographical characteristics or detailed naming of cities and towns, one might argue that each section of this document appears to have been done with immense skillfulness and passion.
