I'll ask if they can add it, much appreciated!

@GEO Unfortunately, this mod is probably incompatible since it's a complete overhaul of terraforming. I doubt the creator is checking for the detox tech.

That being said, it would probably be very easy for them to support it. All they would need is to check for tech_detox OR ap_detox, and it should work fine.

Is this mod compatible with Real Terraforming ? Based on the description don't see anything about Toxic worlds.
kibitz! 14 Jun @ 4:58pm
thank you!

@Triel It appears fixed on my end.
Triel 13 Jun @ 8:18pm
Hope so
Harvatos  [author] 13 Jun @ 4:04pm
I uploaded a fix earlier today for the issue. Hopefully that should be end of it.

I've also gotten the requirement to terraform tomb worlds with PD and I do not use Reworked Ascensions, just FYI. I don't personally find this a big deal but I did notice that oddity after one of the 4.0 hotfixes.
Harvatos  [author] 31 May @ 5:35pm
@Triel I use Planetary Diversity myself, so I don't there's an issue with that. Reworked ascensions might indeed conflict, though.
Triel 31 May @ 4:17pm
I should have taken a screenshot. But it might be a conflict with plantary diversity or reworked advanced ascensions
Harvatos  [author] 31 May @ 2:50pm
@Triel I haven't seen anything of the sort? It should still just require the Climate Restoration tech.
Triel 29 May @ 6:30pm
Apparently its also required to terraform tomb worlds now?
Tricktion 10 May @ 7:21am
Superb! Works well!
Harvatos  [author] 9 May @ 8:07am
@Tricktion Just uploaded a fix. I don't have the time test it right now, but I'm pretty sure it should work.
Harvatos  [author] 9 May @ 7:45am
@Tricktion Damn, I'll check it out. I haven't tested Wilderness yet.
Tricktion 9 May @ 7:05am
It breaks the Wilderness origin. Cannot colonize.

Arguably one of the most essential mods in my opinion. Being able to save an ascension perk slot while still being able to terraform toxic worlds (especially the bigger ones in voidworm systems) is gamechanging. Also, Detox isn't really worth the slot, it just feels better as a researchable tech. Thanks for making this a thing.

Thanks for the update
Porkenstein 17 Sep, 2024 @ 2:12pm
I find that playing with low habitable planet counts and high empire counts makes it worth the slot, but this is probably a way better option for pretty much any other scenario

update for 3.13? I see the detox ap in the selection list now
Harvatos  [author] 5 Aug, 2024 @ 4:28am
@just a person ? I'll take a look.
just a person ? 4 Aug, 2024 @ 8:31pm
hey man is there anyway to fix when the tech have been research, the toxic planet will show up star map, it keep hidden after research
neilbert1 26 Jul, 2024 @ 6:04pm
I can confirmed that the problem seems to have been fixed. The arc furnace/habitat spots available tooltip now shows up again.
Harvatos  [author] 25 Jul, 2024 @ 4:39am
@StarDruid That's very strange; I thought I fixed that ages ago. Anyway, I changed the file name, which should prevent other tooltips from being overwritten.
StarDruid 25 Jul, 2024 @ 12:19am
Seem this mod cause the ability to see how many Arc furnace/Habitat spots a system has, that was recently added to the game, to not show up in the tooltips. I looked at mod content and it's because with the "00_system_tooltips.txt" doesn't have the other entries in it. You'll just need to drop all the stuff and before & after the toxic_terraforming_tooltip section and that will fix it.
The Green One 24 Jul, 2024 @ 12:21pm
Should have always been a thing, great work here
neilbert1 16 Jul, 2024 @ 8:51am
This is the way that toxic world detoxification should have always worked. Having to take an ascension perk to gain this ability is an automatic pass in any game where you have 5 or less toxic terraforming candidates, and even when you have 6 or more, you're still having to give up another potentially very powerful ascension perk. Thank you.
d.kall 12 Jul, 2024 @ 9:36am
Very nice, instant subscribe
Harvatos  [author] 12 Jul, 2024 @ 3:23am
@Dominus Hydrocentric is actually a very good perk, and has a lot more effects than Detox. Detox doesn't do anything except unlock the terraform button on toxic worlds, so it wasn't too hard to just turn it into a tech.
Dominus 12 Jul, 2024 @ 1:09am
Very cool mod, but if I may ask could you make one for Frozen Terraforming Candidates too? Having to go out of my way to become hydrocentric just to terraform one really ain't worth it IMO.
Quote 11 Jul, 2024 @ 7:35pm
Thank god. I'm doubting picking the Gaia Worlds ascension perk, let alone for something as gimmicky as this!

This is a nice alternative, well done
ItsDaKoolaidDude 11 Jul, 2024 @ 1:59pm
cheers
rly helpful replacement than that ascension perk
weregamer 11 Jul, 2024 @ 3:14am
Hear, hear! Useless as a perk, great as a tech.
Mythomaniac Gremlin 11 Jul, 2024 @ 1:34am
Thanks for this! I've literally never wanted to take the detox ascension perk but this will be really handy.
feelinWitchy 10 Jul, 2024 @ 11:46pm
Didn’t know I needed this until now. Thanks!
