@ferny Oh. Must have done something wrong on my end, sorry for taking your time and thank you for the mods!
ferny  [author] 13 hours ago
@HazelFawn Works fine, just checked
HazelFawn 16 hours ago
hi ferny. im not sure but I don't think this is working correctly with the latest medieval overhaul update? at least the 'rustic storage' architect category is there and medieval overhaul stuff is not in 'storage' added by this mod.

Whilst I love this mod I am sad that the "Double shelf" got removed and that the restoration mod does not fix this.

@Flynt the mod you're looking for is Adaptive Storage Neolithic :)

It's not the urns, but it's close.

v30 - fixed that again

v29 - fixed adaptive primitive storage patch

I don't use Reel's Storage and yet it seems like I don't have Neat's meat hooks anymore.
addipeter 16 Jul @ 6:46am
If only Medieval Overhaul and Adaptive Primitive Storage are installed alongside this mod (and required dependencies) several xml patch errors are thrown: https://pastebin.com/KfsAPJ23

Can you integrate support for Phaneron's Basic Storage? I think it has the best pallets overall with the dynamically updated textures, but the overlap with Neat Storage's pallets always confuses me.
ferny  [author] 15 Jul @ 1:36pm
@Flynt You could definitely commission it on the Mod Market
Flynt 15 Jul @ 5:15am
Have a dumb question:
Would you have a suggested mod / pack / maker to reach out to to get urns set up as single stack storage that could hold things like meds, drugs, plants, plant matter, and -maybe- Silver / Gold only?

I don't think it exactly jives with this mod's premise, but at the same time they'd make for a semi-useful "VFE Tribal" type stop gap until you can get to the point of actually making storage and would make for a kinda useful "Tier Zero" type storage unit.

I lack the knowledge of how to set up such a mod myself, else I'd do it for my own games, but it for sure would be something I'd eventually want to not conflict with this mod's design idea.

v28 - wood crate overlap for Reel and Neat
ferny  [author] 15 Jul @ 3:15am
@jonilgz Conflicts with this mod's design philosophy. We do a lot of the same stuff here, not exactly the same way though. I'd say pick one.
jonilgz 15 Jul @ 3:10am
@ferny can we use Medieval Overhaul: Adaptive Storage or its redundant with Progression: Storage?
ferny  [author] 14 Jul @ 6:20pm
v27 - fixed errors from using Reel's storage in 1.6
ferny  [author] 14 Jul @ 12:15pm
@Aura Of course, go for it!
Aura 14 Jul @ 12:14pm
@ferny Fair enough. I personally like fridges just because they make storing meals in a dining room a much easier affair, Plus with gravship space being tight, you want to utilize each square the best you can. Though this becomes less of an issue with mods that increase the gravship's engine/anchor radius.
Would you be okay with someone making a fan-patch to make one (or more) of the fridge options compatible with progression: storage?
ferny  [author] 14 Jul @ 4:16am
@Aura Nah. I don't support fridge storage in this game. Walk-in freezers are the mechanically superior option, and are a more elegant thing to teach the player
Aura 14 Jul @ 3:17am
Sorry for double posting, but I forgot to ask; are there any plans on adding/supporting one (or more) of the fridge mods to this, such as rimfridges (with shelves), SU fridges (adaptive storage), [sbz] fridges, etc? Or would things like that be handled by something else? Thanks!
Aura 14 Jul @ 3:12am
whoa dang that was fast. Thanks!
ferny  [author] 14 Jul @ 3:03am
@Aura Yeah thats fine
Aura 14 Jul @ 2:59am
The description says that it's incompatible with deep storage, but what about adaptive deep storage? Is that mod safe to use with this?
Jiopaba 14 Jul @ 12:06am
Nice, I figured you probably were, thanks for all the hard work ferny! I was a touch surprised nobody had commented on it in the last eight days.
ferny  [author] 14 Jul @ 12:04am
@Jiopaba Aware yeah. Going down the list with all these 1.6 shenanigans. Hopefully fixed tonight
Jiopaba 14 Jul @ 12:04am
I think you may need an update for Reel's Storage. "ReelStorageBarrel" got thrown into some kind of deprecated folder, and now there's "ReelStorageBarrelNew" as well as a few other changes.
MechaKitty 13 Jul @ 5:44pm
Thank you ferny :WhiteWolfFunny:
ferny  [author] 5 Jul @ 10:03am
v25 - removed unnecessary patch
ferny  [author] 5 Jul @ 3:52am
@KindaLikeThat Nope
KindaLikeThat 4 Jul @ 6:08pm
does this remove tall shelves from adaptive deep storage??
Bowen 4 Jul @ 6:05pm
@ferny I can't speak for errors related to my load order or incompatibilities BUT that being said, tested and confirmed. Both bookcases and shelves are available again. Thanks. :)
ferny  [author] 4 Jul @ 7:38am
@Bowen Should be fixed 16 hour ago, no? Try forcing an update. I think its because of the way Adaptive Storage adds its category nowl.
Bowen 3 Jul @ 7:45pm
@Tungul had the same problem. Some kind of incompatibility with patch.xml in the Patches folder. I commented out the 'core patches' section which moves items to ASFStorage and the bookcases and shelves were available again. No idea what mod is causing the issue, probably one that also moves items to another category.
Tyrant 3 Jul @ 3:30pm
Awesome, thank you.
ferny  [author] 3 Jul @ 3:12pm
v24 - forced "storage" category to exist even if other mods haven't created it via adaptive storage framework, switched hiding system to 1.6 VE frameworks new naming structure
Blob [FBI] 3 Jul @ 6:54am
Alrighty
thanks for clarifying
Sometimes theres a mod that says it doesnt have requirements but then it needs them
So was just asking
ferny  [author] 3 Jul @ 6:12am
@Blob [FBI] The only mods you ever need are the ones Steam will tell you you need
Blob [FBI] 3 Jul @ 5:46am
@ferny
Also another question, sorry if Im getting annoying
Is it mandatory to have the other mods installed or is it ok if you only have 1 of them installed for this mod to work
ferny  [author] 3 Jul @ 4:44am
v23 - fixed error
Blob [FBI] 3 Jul @ 4:11am
@ferny
Thanks for the answer
ferny  [author] 3 Jul @ 3:50am
@Blob [FBI] Nah, the way that mod works is kinda fundamentally against how the rest of Progression Storage works. Never implementing it, at least not for a long while
Cyber 3 Jul @ 12:48am
> @Cyber Maybe it's your use of Category Manager?

Uh.. I doubt it, I've removed the mod but the issue is not with the shelves getting hidden behind the menu but rather not being buildable.

As in I can't click a shelf and hit "build copy", I can't find it in the Architect menu, etc.

Almost as if I don't have the tech for it lol
Blob [FBI] 2 Jul @ 7:13pm
I wanna ask this unrelated question...
Will you be doing a patch for the Adaptive Storage Medieval Overhaul mod? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3425601715&searchtext=adaptive
I used it and well...I didnt like seeing both the medieval overhaul storage tab and the ASF Medieval Storage tab in the catagory..

If not thats fine, Ill be using this mod since I didnt vibe with the Primitive storage mod, so now itll be better and smoothly implemented with ASF
Daevinski 2 Jul @ 2:01pm
@bradson Oooh, that's cool! I was not aware... thanks. :cherrypie:
ferny  [author] 2 Jul @ 11:52am
v22 - updated to 1.6
bradson 2 Jul @ 6:04am
@Daevinski Reel's doesn't use SU fridge for its props based fridges anymore. That's been replaced by native framework temperature controls
Daevinski 2 Jul @ 4:22am
It would be possible to include support for both [sbz] Fridge and Simple Utilities: Fridge so they have different names? Like Lab Fridge and Kitchen Fridge or something like that?

Because the second mod has Reel's integration, with some neat props, and even an Adaptive Storage patch . It would be cool to have it alongside SBZ's Fridge in an organized fashion.
ferny  [author] 2 Jul @ 3:42am
@Cyber Maybe it's your use of Category Manager?
