ESG currently has a feature (setting) to adjust number of planets per system.
If you manually click the system, look through the planets, and then click on the anomaly directly from the system screen, it doesn't crash. It's as if the mod breaks something during the planet zoom animation.

I even tried it enabled alone.... nothing else mod / faction alteration /a plain vanilla but that 1 mod and it still did the same thing.
