Err. I think that juste hovering your mouse over the exclamation mark next to the mod's name in the launcher should provide you the loading order

Hi, if better exception window is loaded correctly (i.e.. if it is loaded check the recommended loading order on the mod's page) you should get a detailed crash report when the game crashes. Now, I imagine that it is not your case, so maybe you should check the mod's page directly, especially the reported issues.

Where do you check for a crash report?? I keep getting crashes when I try to enter cities :(

Hi, I have tried to repeat both of your issues but I was unable to : I did not crash while opening a smithy, nor while entering (on map and in 3rd person) a village. These issues appear to be non-systematic. Did you get the detailed crash report ? If you did, you may find the answer within it. If you did not, please tell me, so that I might contact the modder who created it. Hope this helps.

So I keep getting the problem that every time I try to enter a village my game instantly crashes, large cites are fine. Any idea what could be causing that?

Hello, sorry about the delay.
The mod you are talking about must be the Realistic Battle Mod (RBM). You can either completely deactivate it or just change it's options in the main menu of the game. This should be done by going directly to RBM settings from the main menu or from the mod configuration menu (I do not remember exactly and can not check at the moment). The mod is made to be configured in modules, so if you do not find the proper setting just deactivate all the options related to player self-combat. I believe - and hope- this will work. (Btw, i'm pleased to see that this list made it to the cold, icy stretches of Iceland).
