ok so I redid all the tracks, now the music of mostly a consistent decibel level. also in case you didn't know, the "Music Volume" in left 4 dead is contingent on the "Game Volume". what this means is that you can independently adjust the "Music Volume" but the maximum volume of the music is determined by the "Game Volume" level. it may sound like an odd system but most of the events are tied to sound cues to warn you of an event that is about to happen, so it makes sense to have them intertwined so that events don't catch you by surprise. if there is a way to workaround this then I don't know how yet, I've done all I can do :ftired:

ok I tried something, let me know if it's still too quiet because I have 2 other options I could try. on a side note I noticed that changing the Speaker configuration from "7.1" to "Headphones" made the music suddenly become quieter, I never noticed since I always play with 7.1

I'll see if I can find an adequate audio equalizer, right now the decibel level is at the maximum without peaking at certain parts of the song

You should turn up the volume, it sounds very low..
