everytime i clean up my mod list i keep seeing this and think "Wait what traits does this add again?" other than that, good mod to spice up main menu :steamthumbsup:

@FacuPlay525 Yeah I get why you wouldn't use it, idk I think it's worth it. It shouldn't add that much to a bootup time, especially if you're already used to having a huge modpack.

i dont understand why to use this mod, yeah the backgrounds and the heroes fit so well with the vanilla rimworld but waiting 7 minutes to start tthe game just to see some cool PNGs for 10seconds before start a new run its insane, +100mb in this is a waste (no ofense ferny i love your mods)

You know what would be also cool? Change the backgrounds from DLC's and mods like SOS2 to be characterless.

First is vanilla vehicles expanded- warwalkers, so that guy is an ancient zoidburg guy

, and the last guy is from vanilla anomaly expanded - insanity, and he is a guy going crazy I guess, also supposed to be lovecraft

@Zyszhao Nah, these are meant to be like curated pieces. Like character matches background and mixed in with character-less backgrounds.

Could you make the hero a "seperated" image? use a random background(especially local backgrounds) and select which hero appears.
In this way we also could use storytellers, even ther're from another mod!

@ZX Zero The VRE Sanguophage hero art wasn't up to my standard in terms of framing, detail, and lighting. If there's another hemogenic hero art later, then I would love to use that background as you're right it is dope
