I have been planning on making an update to this addon. Especially since I have learned how to actually 3D Model since then and can finally add body groups and other things potentially. Thanks for the suggestions!

Having a smooth 90 degree street turn piece with no crosswalks and a lane divider would be nice, as the current street turn pieces are pretty sharp and look weird without the center line. Maybe also have the gutter slopes be a bit less pronounced as when driving on the 512 unit wide roads most cars will noticeably lean. Otherwise, great addon and I have been looking for something like this for a while.

I'll take a look next time on, but although they select and change size - they do not actually appear. In the models tab, they spawn just fine and can be laid as tracks, albeit, without the highway. It might just be a problem with me spawning them directly on the ground.

Yeah, My packs were intended for sandbox play rather than mapping, though I have seen my buildings used in maps which is freaking awesome! I'm glad I inadvertently inspired you to create your own! and I bet your next pack will look pretty awesome too!

Hammer++ was broken for a little bit but I assure you its working again. I recommend joining the Hammer Editor Discord Group (HEDG) and asking for assistance there. You may be experiencing a common problem

If you are using this for a map, you must ask yourself. What would be the simplest solution. For me to completely rework a model that already took some brushwork wizardry to figure out. Or for you to make a simple 16 unit thick (or whatever size necessary piece) street part out of brushes. If you're having a hard time figuring out what I did to make the roads out of brushes contact me via discord @wizardsonly and I will send you a vmf that deconstructs how the road parts were made.

All of the roads line up perfectly with the exception of the fork. The distance between the double road end of the fork is like 16 hammer units off unfortunately. I figured I would just leave it in for you to do whatever you want with it rather than scrap it.

Alright so I did some small testing. I made a winding set of roads consisting of 25 768x768 pieces. I tried duping it normally then I tried saving the dupe and reloading flatgrass to then load the dupe. Nothing I have tried so far can reproduce the same issues.

My recommendation is to try and find an addon conflict. I also highly recommend opting into the x64 beta and loading gmod up in the x64 branch because it is much more stable if you aren't already using that. I may as the track assembly creator to see if it has anything to do with track assembly but that dudes programming is stunning.

Not entirely sure what would cause that. On infmap that kinda makes sense because infmap is already pretty unstable. But on flatgrass? I've never tested these in making dupes before but saves have worked just fine for me on flatgrass. I'll do some testing and see if I can replicate the issue.

Ive got one problem. I try to make a city plan using only roads and save it as a dupe, when im trying to load it on map, my game crashes. On gm_concstruct it works properly but for example, on flatgrass and infmap it crashes....

@YourBoiMikey once my buddy finishs up adding body groups to a large portion of the props I plan on making a separate prop pack with Black Mesa Roads and maybe another mods roads, and I definitely planned on making CS:S roads in that pack too, but now that you mention it I might as well try my hand at Ep2 roads. Those are weird though because theyre like part of the landscape (as in the displacement terrain if you know hammer lingo). So no promises on that but its a great idea if I can make it work somehow!

Oh and and the addon Smart Snap in conjection with the other two I mentioned. Makes building with the streets significantly easier, not as easy as it would be with something like the track assembly tool, but much better than just the physgun.

Unfortunately I wasn't really able to follow along with the tutorial on adding custom models to the Track Assembly Tool. In the mean time I recommend using the Improved Stacker Tool and the Precision tool. I have also contacted the creator of the track assembly tool to see if he could provide assistance on adding my props.
