@CookieToniis IIRC, it turns your hunker down into shield wall. And equipping a shield gives you shield wall.

@TrooperCoon No, you do not. They just share similar perks from Mitzruti's Perk Pack.

Or give it a unique shield only him can use,to avoid messing all classes using the shield.

Fair,tho I think you should put a disclaimer in the desc that it change the shields stats ,cause I spent a good 10min wondering why my infiltrator was getting +2 when its supposed to be -2 lmao

@Soul It's an intentional buff for the Vengeance spec to make it more offensive than the Aegis Defender spec which has a dodge and defense buff. If you use both specs then you get the benefit of both their buffs. To me, it didn't make sense for a shield bearer to have debuffs because IRL I know I would I'd move and shoot better when getting shot at if I was properly trained to use a shield. ;) Of course, these buffs can be changed or negated with a comment in XComShields.ini.

Just saw your screenshot show the +5 aim and +2 mobi,so idk if it was intentional in the end,but if so I'll just say it seem quite strong to be a tankier unit that can go faster.
(sorry for the triple post,but I don't wanna delete/repost in case it just pile up in your box lmao)

oh yeah also SHIELD_AIM_PENALTY=5 add +5 aim when having a shield,I think its best to do a config only for your mod to be affect and not touch the main shield if possible,cause it affect all classes

Yo,I think you might've messed up something up with the shields lmao
in the normal config of the rework its like:
SHIELD_MOBILITY_PENALTY=-2

But in your (which honeslty I think you should remove cause it override the shield mod and its rework stuff)
its
SHIELD_MOBILITY_PENALTY=2
So basically any class that equip a shield get +2 mobility if this mod is enabled,making it quiiiite strong lol

But yeah,I think you should just remove that ini cause it mess with the shield mod and rework,at least for me it does,removing it fixed it them for me
