You betcha, much appreciate it. I had figured it was probable mostly on their end, since theirs is the only mod I've had that issue with.

@Kaedys, the mod in question has some errors in setting up the configs, though the crash is partially my fault and should be fixed now. Big thanks for all the info provided!

Getting a LUA error cited as this mod when trying to click on the settings in the mod Better Ice Flingomatic+ (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3358135145) . I suspect it is because of how they are defining their settings, using custom config wrappers, so I suspect the easiest change would be on their end, but I'm not sure if there's something you could do to at least filter out options set up like that and at least not throw an exception or something. @RICK, no, the mod already has text input, and I don't think progress bars would make a significant difference compared to lists.

Do you have interest in implementing number input and progress bar? For example, the range of an option's value is [0,10] as integer, another range is [0%,100%] as percent. Also, if your keybind method does not include everything, you can look at my mod Character Keybinds. I've collected all keyboard keys, all mouse buttons and some controller keys that covers more than ordinary mods and Lazy Controls.

Hi, in my mod Search your map , I need users to enter any text as config. I has another mod Mod Config By Text that implement this function but it conflicts with yours. Would you consider merging the function of "Mod Config By Text" into your mods?

The crashes are gone but it's up to the mod author to fix their mod's configs.

The configs on that mod have an error. Descriptions and data for mouse button bind options don't match, and there's an option without a description. I'll make a patch to prevent crashes though.

Nice idea. But crashed on the first mod i tried to config.
It was the mod Abigail Flower Controls: "Toggle Summon" and "Use Elixir" options caused crash.

@неокортекс антропоморф, I was able to bind my middle mouse button because it was a valid option provided by the mod I was configurating. You cannot bind a button if the config doesn't have it.

how did you bind your mouse on gif? can this mod bind buttons that some configs don't have?

@蓝莓, made a Chinese variant of mod description (using online translators as my only option).
As for the configurations for this mod, they don't need a translation since they have no effect anyway and exist for testing purposes only. I'll remove them shortly to avoid confusion.
