done it is on the discord and it is problem with rot 6.0 rbm integration for this where the probelm lies

this mod does not work with rbm as it make spear skill requirement high

@LordXyz100 the higher the number the more likely they are to use the spear. It is a multiplier.

with the spear prefernce the defalt number is 3 is it the lower the number the more likely thay are to use the spear or the higher number?

When your mod is disabled and both rbm modules are active the legionaries will still prefer to use their javelins over their swords in melee.

I did. I was testing around with having the combat module off and the thrust preference was working, but then I ran into the jav problem. I turned the combat module back on and it was still happening.

Would I be able to replicate what you have done with this mod by editing the xml?

@LordBanana make sure you have the RBM combat module enabled.

No matter what I do, the imperials with still try and use their javs as spears rather than switching to their maces if the hold fire command is given

What does the slider actually do? I'm pretty sure it doesn't increase the cost of the polearms any further.

@ptkato other users who experienced the same issue as you fixed it by enabling RBM combat module. So you can try that.

By far the most immersive mod. The king of all weapons is the Spear and most knights or druzhina would choose a Lance over a Sword in real life.

@ptkato like I mentioned I am unable to replicate the issue. I have polearms ranging from tier 4 to tier 6 but not all tier 6 like you have.

The cost is a result of it becoming tier 6, there are no spears in the game that are not tier 6. Even checking the encyclopedia troops, all their spears are tier 6 too.

@ptkato I don't get the same issue. Are you using some mod that changes item costs?

This mod has a problem where it transforms all spears into a tier 6 weapon, that messes the economy since cities will rarely have any spears to sell and when they do it's like a pitchfork costing 20k denars.

If my companions have legendary melee weapon and simple spear - they always choose spear (((

Thanks for making this bug fix as the polearm bug was getting annoying.
