Can you still have the aliens "join" your civilization? I mean when you have a hive in your territory for 60 turns and the icon turns blue. Also with researched tech can you still be immune to miasma? This seems like a great mod btw.

I want to love this mod - but it becomes hard for me or the AIs to survive at all. Our initial base is often destroyed. It needs to mellow out the volume of aliens early on - so that everyone can have a chance to establish a city. Then get more aggressive as contact is made...

I love this mod, I think they really dropped the ball when it comes to aliens since you can basically ignore them in vanilla until you get units who can simply oneshot them

Glad to hear it and hope you keep enjoying it :)

I really love this mod. With this mod and frenzied aliens the game makes it where you have to really work for it to expand your empire

So far I like it. I really enjoy that aliens don't just ignore me in the early game now. The increases in strength give them more longevity but they can still be killed early by massed units.

Couple things I'm not crazy about. The miasma change is, I think, unnecessary. Miasma is already a pretty big advantage for the aliens. Secondly, the wolf-beetle move of 3 is crazy powerful. Before getting the explorer immunity trait it is basically impossible to scout the map.

The base game files being edited not adding ne w ones is why there is only an empty file there. The changes are made

That will be incompatibility with the other mods your using not a problem with this mod itself so the others wil be overiding this version

Doesn't work. Doesn't buff the alien's strength and they all seem to gather around my capital just waiting for me to make them angry. I have them frenzied and the mods Alien unlimited XP, slower science, exclusive wonders, stronger explorer, and 80 turn trade routes.

Ummm, cool, but for me the downloaded mod only contained a .modinfo file, which was basically empty, except the properties part.

Seems like a cool mod. Will try. I am kinda unimpressed so far with the vanilla aliens... they just walk around and don't mess with you much.

I never actually thought about that but since thats the way it works in vanilla i'd assume so. Seems a bit powerful but its more work and resources to do so with their increased strength so shouldnt be a problem. If you manage to try it out let me know how it goes please

for the virtue that gives back science for each alien kill depending on alien strength does that still apply with the increased strength?
