The only version of this mod I can find on the civfanatics forum is version 3. Does anyone have a working link to V5?

I get a bunch of error messages when I load/start a game with this active. The game still runs fine, but it's a little annoying.

For those having issues running this mod:

Steamworks: Version 4 (Outdated)
Current: Version 5 (Not posted here -- civfanatics forum only)

Be aware that the current version is not available here. The mod author's last comment (Oct 31, 2015 @ 7:26pm) was that he couldn't get the SDK working and therefore could not post the updated version here.

If you want this mod search the web for civfanatics infoaddict-for-beyond-earth.537441 and download v5 from the forum post on the civfanatics website. The thread is started by "unknownone", initially posted on Oct 29, 2014, then updated on Oct 31, 2015.

Not to be cynical but the whole game is dead. The best mods haven't been touched since 2014.

I also have the same problem as Tim_ and Corny879.
After about 20-odd clicks it becomes
Assets/UI/Art/IconsLeaderPortraits1024frame.dds
After a few more clicks this window goes away and the game seems to play normally.

Update: After saving a game and loading it again, attempting to open the Diplomacy screen froze the game.

With CivBE+RT installed, tried this mod on its own today (no other mods enabled).
After going through the setup screens, it gives an error popup before ever showing the initial map.
The popup says "Unable to load texture [IconFrame64.dds]"
If cancelled, the popup re-appears continually (forever).
Game works fine with no mods and with other mods, just this mod has this issue.

Unfortunately, the SDK has been crashing instantly on startup for me (I've reinstalled everything, and validated everything numerous times), so I have not been able to upload the new Rising Tide fix via Steam Workshop. However, it is now been posted on the civfanatics thread downloadable as a zip file to extract into the MODS directory.

I've only done minimal testing on the Rising Tide version in order to release it quicker. Let me know if there are any issues.

Unknownone, I can't wait to get ahold of the version for Rising Tide. Please hurry! I absolutely hate playing Civ games without Infoaddict. :-) Thanks for updating it for Beyond Earth in the first place.

The only two files that I'm getting errors on are iconframe64 and leaderportraits1024frame. I've been able to disable the leaderportraits1024frame with no problems, but the use of iconframe64 is in the LUA for the mod, so it can't be simply removed. As of right now I haven't found a replacement for it. If anyone has any ideas let me know. All the assets are packed in FPK files and so far I've had no luck in finding a tool to look in them. I'm not a "real" modder I mostly just tinker with the XML.

@RickF7666, you are awesome. For some reason I hadn't tried just loading through the errors with Info Addict on and UI Enhancements off. It's not ideal, but I can at least keep going on my existing game that is 400 turns in. For everyone on here, it looks like the files throwing errors are the following:

I'm looking into finding alternatives to the no longer availble assets. The mod still works you just get a red box instead of the picture. And as the missing pictures are just frames there is no harm.

It looks like they removed or relocated a bunch the resources that a lot of mods were built on with this update. I've got 3 other mods that are also failing.

I'm getting texture (dds and icon) loading errors since the Rising Tide update today whenever I load info addict in my mod list. The errors are occuring upon trying to start a game or load a game. Anyone else seeing this?

Is there a chance to become the (civ5) demographic screen O N L Y ?!
For multiplayer InfoAddict is too detailed an there is no chance for this little lies :-)

Two years ago another (for me unknown developer) has created the "Enhanced Demographics User Interface (UI). You can find it on www.picknmixmods.com . May be - it can ported to BE ?

Since the latest patch, the game is crashing for me as soon as the first 3D leader lands with only your mod activated and leader art higher than minimum. I am using the mantle version, and the leaders worked perfectly at max without the mod loaded. I loved this mod in 5, and, of course, loved it for this game, too, while it worked for me.

On a developing note, you should consider doing an alternate version that ties the information provided/available to your covert actions and intrigue levels. This could make the concept of spying and intelligence gathering more in line with reality and make deploying your agents far more important. Anyway, just a thought.

For a second Civ running the Lazy Developers rely on info addict. How can they justify not adding graphs? They were the basis of what made civ great!!!

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet but like the 3rd screenshot shows, the Global Relations tab doesn't seem to show lines connecting vertically. You can test this with different numbers of players and/or AI, not all the relations lines will show up.

I love this mod. This provides everything I was looking for re game info. The only problem I've encountered is it seems to trash the Hall of Fame board. Whenever I use this, my game fails to appear in the Hall of Fame board at the end. When I check the leaderboard log it says "Leaderboard score not posted because current mod configuration doesn't support leaderboards". Has anyone else had this problem with this mod? I really want to keep using it but I also like to see my games in the leader board.

@Jonnyboy: There is an InfoAddict menu option under the "+" menu near the bottom right corner buttons. Same place where you access the economy overview, military overview, etc, from the vanilla game.

How do you look at this while in game? The only time I foudn it is when I was in diplomacy with another civilization but can't find it in the diplomacy screen when I'm NOT making a deal with someone. Great mod otherwise. A true shame a modder has to do a developer's work that should be a given.

I did have other mods loaded at the time: Colorful Tech Web (v.9), Enhanced Loadout (v.5), Player Colour for Units (v.3), Previous Route in Red (v.1), and Simple Clock (v.1). Disabling only InfoAdict allowed the save to load and continute the game.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, I used Info addict so much in civ 5 that i thought it was part of the actually game, It's no wonder i felt the game was missing something with the lack of knowing who was at what standing. I like having this at my finger tips, just to know who i'm pissing off, who the piss off more, and who i should really be pushing buttons with.
