Well-done port, just a few bits of critique if you're open to it:
-I feel the mini-boss shows up too often. Showing up half as often would make it more fun.
-I have encountered the Chirurgeon and patients many times. Never encountered just random gaunts... Doesn't feel right. Generics should be more common.
-The bleed response triggering on ranged attacks feels wrong. Is that fixable?

Cause we can't change targeting based on that in DD1. We do the best we can.

Having issues with some of the weald mashes? "fungal_Brtillery_B" could be the culprit.

the tweaks to urchin was just code cleanup, but i did apply them to the others

fixed stealth to 500% chance (guaranteed)
Fixed bleed_1 to 100% chance

The other chirurg pieces you mentioned was all tuning.

Uh, so about that fixing of % chance. For start you missed "dd2_chirurg_stealth" which is now at 0.510% chance. For other all the things that were 100% chance before (I have an old copy saved due to manual install so I can compare easily) are now 500% chance. That probably doesn't matter much for most of those effects, but this also includes "dd2_bleed_1", so if anything uses that they now have an effectively unresistable bleed.
Also it seems like while fixing discrepancies some effects might have been unintentionally downgraded. "chirurg_bonesaw" went from "dd2_bleed_6" to "dd2_bleed 5", "chirurg_bloodletting" went from "dd2_bleed_3" to "dd2_bleed_2", "chirurg_trep_attack went from "dd2_stressdot_8" to "dd2_stressdot_5", and "chirurg_trep_buff" lost "dd2_chirurg_spdbuff" entirely.

I fixed the % chance, and yea you were spot on as to why.

I actually forgot about the discrepancies, i'll do that now since i'm thinkin about it

I think the newest patch might have borked the effects file, it looks as if every "chance 1" got mass replaced to "chance 0.5" resulting in things like "effect: .name "DD2MorselBleed1" .target "target" .chance 0.500%"

Also, the discrepancies I mentioned back on Oct 13 are still there, not sure if that means they're intentional or did the report slip by.

Re-evaluated spawn chances on guants as a whole with the end result nearly halving their chance, if not moreso in the cove.

We have also added a small mix of regional monsters mashes, so Guants will seem less polarizing as a faction.

Major update:

Chirurgeon
--------
-Buffs than increase dmg reduced greatly and only effect certain targets.

-Buffs that were other stats have been lowered as well

-Max hp lowered by ~ 5%

-His bonus action heal is now a HoT, this will allow more counterplay and less annoying grinding vs. Woodsman

Lost Soul Patient
---------------------
DMG on chomp reduced drastically
hp lowered by ~5%

SPAWNING
---------------------
The spawning method has changed to be more random and take up less mash space in a dungeon. This should just be an overall win.

Also, now that I'm paying attention to those - B and C chirurgeons refer to `dd2_stealth` in urchin related lines. Near as I could tell it should be `dd2_chirurg_stealth` as in A entry

I noticed that `chirurgeon_B` monster definition is missing, under the `Effects` header second block of skill definition is missing the line for `skill: .id "chirurg_leucotomy_woodsman" .effect "dd2_chirurg_vsbleed" "dd2_chirurg_woodsman" "dd2_chirurg_trep_M"`
Considering A and C both have that it looks like it might have been an accidental removal?

Hello! I noticed that Chirurgeon has a passive ability when it shows up, and it's displayed as a string of blue characters in the Chinese mode. I inspected the file and found that the "buff_stat_tooltip_upgrade_discount_dd2_chirurg_spawnthing" wasn't translated.
I added the sinicization of this part, which makes it normal to display it in the game
Is there anything I can help you with?
Or you could also add Chinese to this untranslated part
