I am not sure i the problems I having with taking this tank on raids and back is due to this tank having no pawns on board, but after a couple of successful raids using it with other vehicles, now I am having some weird glitches when I try to bring it back to my base along with another vehicle.
One obvious glitch is trying to get it to travel by itself leaves it unable to travel on the world map.
But I am wondering if I just had a few passenger seats for pawns to ride along in would make it work better for traveling between locations on the world map? I know its supposed to drive itself and shoot by itself, but not having any spaces for pawns to ride in seems to be causing trouble for me when traveling...

The art is amazingly good. Would be great to see transport version with lighter weapon choice for arctic transportation scenarios.

@Aesonne - That's a limitation of Vehicle Framework itself, I noticed it with other vehicles as well. Would need them to fix it.

Why tank doesnt target manhunters?? Can you make it possible? Maybe assign hotkey for manual targeting at least?

Talking about drones- have you considered Wingman drones to augument bombing runs/close air support?
Fragile with limited ammo and fuel, but light and cheap.

Only problem is that I'm not sure that currently Vehicle Framework allows bombing runs like SRTS does.

blackrave - I do have plans for upgrades eventually, I've done so with all my other vehicles. My main concern is that it will be too overpowered, since raiders don't have access to vehicles yet, nor are there many things that counter super heavily armored vehicles (at least in Combat Extended, which I use).

For now I'll be prioritizing working on my lighter, less armored vehicles until raiders can get vehicles of their own.

Heavier Uranium-Plasteel armor? Heavy main cannon to be able to lob shells in direct fire? Charge MG replacement? Vanometric power plant to remove fuel requirment (by building in Vanometric Cell)?
That sort of thing?

Since IRL Ripsaw is drone, have you considered adding requirment for mechanitor to link up to control it?
Something low like 1 bandwith to explain how drones can move and attack?
Just without usual mechanoid thing of going feral when no one controls it, since there really isn't anything complex controlling it.

@WiseArkAngel - I wrote why on this page, electric vehicles are currently broken in Vehicle Framework, so I have it set to use regular chemfuel until they are fixed.

You think you can look into this? You say it's an electric UGV, but I still need to put chemfuel into it? Why is this? I could understand if this was the backup power source, but the vehicle behaves as if it's the primary source.

Probably a stupid question, but will this mod and other gtek vehicles function without CE? Or is CE needed for the ammo types to get it to shoot?

Incase anyone runs into the issue where the Ripsaw cant move, always resulting in "Cannot reach this destination" error, i had to go into the Vehicle Framework Mod Settings and swap the driving mode from Colonist Driven to AI Driven, it then was then finally able to move after reloading my save.

@Littleman - The vest is from Combat Extended, the goggles and balaclava are from Combat Extended Armors, the helmet is from my currently unreleased armor mod. Correct about the rifle.

here is an idea if possible for upgrads, make the upgrade be a fuel to electric conversion. onve they fix the electric vehicle stuff.
