The thing I have always hated about Rochelle's design is the lack of reference to her background. I.e., what her life was prior to the infection. Like with Coach, we know he was a gym teacher because of his outfit and his name. With Ellis, we know he's a mechanic based on his outfit. Nick's design suits him (no pun intended) because he's a jerk at the beginning of the game and his background as a gambler. I believe Rochelle's background as a news reporter must have been a afterthought over at Value.
