I don't have RT, but there's no reason why it shouldn't.

Does this work with RT?

Love this mod...wish it were built in the game.
Voudo 9 Nov, 2014 @ 9:08am
No, did not change anything... It starts hanging between 255 and 312, in 3 independent games, i tried it alone and it works, but when added to 2 other mods it seems NOT to like them and crashes. The Color tech web and stronger explorers

@Voudo: When did the hang/crash occur? Did you change it to randomize capitals too?
Voudo 7 Nov, 2014 @ 7:56pm
Ok, because I tried several new games and they are all "asia-like" sounding names ad it hangs the game or causes it to crash out right

@Voudo: There are no conflicts. Version 3 always randomizes modded civ's cities (rather than only if the other mod was activated first).

@Oil: Open RandomCities.sql in a text editor. There are 2 versions (each with two statements). Comment out with 2 hyphens (--) or just delete the statements at the top, then uncomment the bottom statements.

Is there a conflict w other mods?

Civ V was better than Civ IV in that respect because you could use the "edit" button in the city screen (the one you get when you click the city) to change the citys name whenever, and as many times as you wanted.

@zArkham4269 Did you really play Civ V for 2,909 hours and never notice the button that said "Edit" right next to the city name?

Nice

Is there a way you can make it so even the capital city's name is randomized, too?
EtheyB 29 Oct, 2014 @ 2:11pm
I literally thought about a mod like this and finally I've found one!! Thank you so much :D

Given that Civ:BE makes a lot of things VERY tiny, I'm sure I'm not the only one to miss it. In trying to figure out the victory conditions, many people complained how hard it is to see how to activate a wonder.
Slumcut 29 Oct, 2014 @ 1:12am
Oh wow zarkham, did you miss the edit city name button on the last civ too? :/
Thirteen51 28 Oct, 2014 @ 9:20am
@zArkham4269 You can change the name of the city by clicking the (incredibly tiny) edit button next to the city name at the top of the city screen.

Any chance you can fiddle with this so we can actually choose our city names or change them after the fact? I can't believe Firaxis did it again like with Civ V losing certain VERY BASIC capabilities of Civ IV.
Monado 27 Oct, 2014 @ 7:23pm
I do not play Civ V without this mod on! Thank you for including instructions on how to also randomize the capital name as well.

Love this mod. Thanks!
