And that would be that you up their melee attack and defense to like 35 and maybe their weapon damage to 100.
I say this because from what I can see from the screenshots you've posted, they do seem to have some of the Skullcannon/Blood Shrine fiery spin animations, and I think that with their low unit count, it could be ok in a balanced sense.
But that's just a suggestion.
Maybe you could make a slightly different version of the Gyrocycles, one with spikes on the wheels and a bit more armor, and it's the one who has the pretty good melee stats.

Trust me, dwarfs figuring out bikes is absolutely not an insane claim for their tech level. And despite the average, the more progressive Holds would have no problem with this, methinks.
