You can interrupt reload by being stunned, staggered or by switching. You get the idea.

For example, when you're in a situation where theres a horde and you reload, the ammo stays, so when you're reloading, you can stop the reload animation by firing.

Never used a mod like this before so I might be doing something wrong but it does not seem to work for me

Is it possible to make it similar to TF2, being able to shoot and stop loading without removing the bullets ?

that mod change the clip, so can't get correct value.
Left 4 Fun also has “prevents M60 drop” and "reload" fix, you can try it.

Wrong ammo count when reloading m60 in 0 clip. I have use this mod "Grenade Launcher & M60 Fix [Server Mod]" and set "ammo_m60_max" to 300

@R󠀡F It loads the ammo fast but can't fire the weapon until the animation is finished moving, might be useful if not using weapon scripts but I'm using one so I prefer this for personal reasons. Just the reload cancel alone is a win for me

@Raizen That plugin is still better because ammo gets loaded during clip in rather than end of animation.

I've tested it and this is better than the sourcemod equivalent, and has the same advantage as the sourcemod version as well, you can reload cancel which is pretty useful when there's infected coming fast and you accidentally pressed the reload, you can switch fast and fire the weapon again.
