man what a fun character. i love not being able to touch the ground around or walk remotely close to my opponent

down aerial is a fucking menace when used right, and down special is easily his most important skill

to the creator of this mod however, this is genuinely one of the most unique characters ive seen in a while, to how his true identity was hidden on release until you played with him or fought against him, to how you designed a "dont get too close" moveset around him

genuinely one of the best horror mods for rivals next to spooky and mx, and currently, in my opinion, THE best creepypasta mod for rivals so far, period

I think this character has a high skill ceiling that requires a lot of getting used to.

Hes really bad, has no weight despite how his moves are balanced, the normals are all inconsistent with incredibly low combo potential because of his extremely tight hit boxes for a big body character which would make sense if he was a real big body but he severely lacks the weight to be one. If he at least had moderate kill power you could excuse this but he most definitely does not, he needs to be heavier, with the ability to kill more reliably and I cant say I'm a fan of how his jab works, its most definitely not good against competent players so it wont see use much and that's a shame cause I find it pretty interesting.
A big help would be a buff to his hit boxes because that seems to be a main struggle of his.

This character is a very weird one. On one hand, he's slow and absolutely huge making hit pretty easy to hit and kill. On top of that, he's so tall that a lot of his attacks whiff and result in incredible amounts of endlag. On the other hand, jab does insane damage, gives super armor quickly, and can hit opponents in normally invulnerable states. Pretty unique and interesting character, being extremely high risk high reward.

Also, I love how there's a Faust color on him. It kinda makes me wish that Faust was actually in workshop, now.

This mod has the potential to be really great, but it just needs some stat changes. He kills weirdly late, with things like up-air near the top blast zone only killing around 150%. He should kill way earlier considering he's so slow. Just make his aerials kill earlier and he'll be pretty balanced.

i love the changes. im hoping they fix some of his one-sided matchups. i'll be testing him against them soon. especially against base-cast characters which are usually better than workshop characters (strengthwise) maybe he can be one of them

fellow creator V_Force has done some good amount of balancing work done for slenderman so i've pushed it along with my own changes, check out the patch notes for v0.4!

keeping him slow is the way to go i think, but definitely give him some buffs to his offensive game. maybe give him some sort of finisher when slender sickness is active, like zetterburn does on flaming opponents?

I do think he should be slow yeah, that is a very appropriate weakness that fits with the character. I think what he needs is a bit more ways to escape being combo'd, like a faster air drift?

id like to gather public's opinion on you guys in steam comments:
i personally believe he should be slow horizontally, i even considered making him even slower! that is because slenderman, is ultimately, a stick-in-the-mud.
he is most known standing around at a distance, and it is where he is most ominous. it is true that someone's comment here said, that he is definitely the scariest when close-range because of the sickness and whatever else he does to people's psyche, but i really want him to just stand around, you dont see him walking around or running around all the time yknow.

im up to help him with attack stats but i dont think i wanna buff his movement

he should also be faster on the ground. his run is so slow and so is his air speed. he should be the master of the ground. also, every page you rip should make him stronger
