@Cheesemongle so does it still work if i use the console commands: observe and test it or it only works if theres a player playing/controlling their ships etc..?

I think so? It won't crash and ship designs can just changed so, i dont think there'll be any issue

Hey can you remove this mid-game? Kinda got myself in a shitty situation by not paying attention

I WAS having the no ship AI no corvette issue, but I changed the load order as author suggests and it's working now. Glad I found this convo

Frigates show for me, and i can design them
Falling5tar 24 Oct, 2024 @ 6:33am
Did you make sure to load em in the right order, with nsc3 after ssai? For me it works fine, and I can access the nsc3 chips just fine (I can't design frigates for some reason though bug perhaps?)

Then no, it's a problem with your modlist. This patch works on my end, with only SSAI, NSC, this patch.

NSC has two tactics computers, vanilla and mod. 1)Vanilla is a standard tactics computer that gives bonuses and in vanilla determines how the ship operates. 2) Computer tactics from NSC-Does not give bonuses, but gives much more options for tactics (and its tactics are in priority over vanilla). For example, you have a carrier ship from NSC, or as I call it an "aircraft carrier". It is logical that you choose a vanilla tactics module such as "Artillery" as it gives bonuses for the attack launch distance. But suppose you want your aircraft carrier to stand at a distance of 70 or 120 from the target, then you choose a long-range attack module at 70 or 120 in the second computer from the NSC. And the problem is that with your mod and patch, the destroyer has only one slot for a vanilla computer!!but!! For example, a ship from the NSC mod, for example, a Dreadnought, has both vanilla and NSC (Which is correct). That's the problem. If you want to clarify something, write.

Ok, this isn't really helpful. What's the "second tactics computer"? Don't ships only have one of those?
bulba 23 Oct, 2024 @ 11:27am
I checked it doesn't matter in which order I put ssai, patch and NSC. In any case, the second Tactics computer (NSC) does not even display a slot at all.I tried to put the patch after NSC and put NSC as a priority when downloading compared to SSAI, but the result does not change at all.

You have another mod interfering with ship sizes, or you don't have the patch loaded after both mods
bulba 23 Oct, 2024 @ 3:40am
hello, I found that even with the patch, the ships lack tactics from the NSC. This does not fix the loading order.
