@SpaceWeasel If you load more than 34 mods, meaning you reach 35 mods loaded, no matter what aspect of the game, textures and models will fail to load.
Singh 25 Jun @ 12:15am
can you make this for Attila?
Sacred Cow Slaughterhouse 13 Jun @ 3:42pm
Space Weasel if you have too many mods those graphical issues appear. it's ~35mods and it starts making stuff dissapear
Alexiel 3 Jun @ 6:06am
is beautiful—it brings a fresh atmosphere and truly feels like a military camp. The only downside is seeing the vanilla tent animation collapse when moving the soldiers. But really, that’s a minor detail. Fantastic work! :lunar2020halodragon:

good mod:steamthumbsup:
MIs  [author] 13 Apr @ 7:36am
@SpaceWeasel hm, it has nothing to do with generals. Check your mod order or smthg that can cause the issue.
SpaceWeasel 13 Apr @ 5:26am
This mods makes my roman generals invisible on the campaign map
Mars 11 Mar @ 9:59pm
Wouldn't it be nice if it looked a little more ''Roman'' or little bit bigger?
MIs  [author] 3 Mar @ 6:31am
@ElTitoMuelas try to load it above everything so it will overwrite things related to camps. It's not touching any db or balance things, purely cosmetic.
ElTitoMuelas 3 Mar @ 4:56am
I finally discovered that it had a conflict with the campaign mod for bellum. Would it be possible to make it compatible with your mod?
MIs  [author] 1 Mar @ 6:07am
@ElTitoMuelas is it during camp battles? make sure to put the mod on top in mod manager.
ElTitoMuelas 1 Mar @ 3:38am
When combat begins, no camp appears. I deploy to the battlefield as normal. Why does this happen?
MIs  [author] 21 Feb @ 11:16am
yes, in custom battle look for an option "encampment"
richardtsheath 20 Feb @ 3:24pm
can you fight in a custom battle?
MIs  [author] 20 Feb @ 11:04am
@ richardtsheath I don't understand the question. Sorry.
richardtsheath 20 Feb @ 6:02am
what i the camp name called and where do i find it
MIs  [author] 19 Feb @ 4:17pm
@Gunner load above all and check in custom battles. Could be mod conflict.
Gunner 17 Feb @ 7:38am
My fort battles are just coastal grassland battles, there is no fort, not sure why its not putting me in a fort
I think i love you:2018bestaward:
FELDRIC 26 Jan @ 2:34am
I love you, thanks
Hey, could you modify the cities and their sieges to make them look like those in Warhammer TW?
Hélios 14 Jan @ 2:15pm
epic
MIs  [author] 10 Jan @ 3:05am
@Patrick Vin well, as I wrote in description the mod represent generic camp for all factions, roman incl. We know how roman imperial time camp looked like, and yes it was different. So regarding roman imperial time it is not valid for sure, but it was not the aim.

@Ræd thnx! When we'll find a way how to mod game tiles - should be possible.

@Cyrus: Emperor of Mankind yes compatible with DEI. I plan to do some stuff with cities, but it;s a a very huge task, so let's see:)
Is this compatible with DEI?
God I wish we could do this and change the way Rome II cities look because they look all the same!
Ræd 1 Jan @ 10:24am
Hi! This looks amazing! Out of curiosity, do you know if there's any way to increase the camp sizes? Like make the roman fort large enough to look like it holds all of the men present in the army?
Patrick Vin 17 Dec, 2024 @ 8:14pm
is the one for the roman faction actually what their camps looked like? i thought they looked different
MIs  [author] 7 Dec, 2024 @ 1:26pm
@Taylor yep
Taylor 7 Dec, 2024 @ 9:29am
Awesome is this dei compatible?
大能牛逼闪亮亮 2 Dec, 2024 @ 5:29am
perfect. A similar rework for Attila would be nice too.
MIs  [author] 16 Nov, 2024 @ 12:26pm
@Luskainn hey mate, happy you like and appreciate your proposition. This mod is still kinda wip and I plan to bring some visual and stylistic improvements after I finish other stuff. So I don't feel it's a right time to incl it to a big overhauls or etc. We can come back to it later on. Cheers!

@benjaminrojasstarwars yep

@ThatPersianCoin woop!

@Switching Doom I didn't test it but should work, load above.
Luskainn 13 Nov, 2024 @ 6:29pm
Really like the results of your great work. I am the author of Peloponnesian War and would love to use some of the features of your mod, such as the models on the strategic map and other elements (which, because of the different eras, may involve modifying some of the models, such as Roman shields), and would like to get authorisation from you to use them. I will of course indicate your intellectual property rights. If not please let me know as well, again much appreciated!
benjaminrojasstarwars 11 Nov, 2024 @ 10:51am
es compatible con el dei
Maras99 10 Nov, 2024 @ 11:56am
Mod is prrety good, only problem i have is theyr hitboxes zou need to hit uper part of the tower to do damage and i have sometimes it seems it ads some towers in barbarians citzes but i dont know all map desings so dont take mz word for it.:steamhappy:
ThatPersianCoin 8 Nov, 2024 @ 11:27pm
That's up to both Dresden (and the other devs) and the mod author. I just make 3d models and work on VMDs lol
Drax70 5 Nov, 2024 @ 11:16am
@ThatPersianCoin
Then you should ask @Dresden that it should be integrated in the Main DeI Mod for the next update...maybe?!!!
What do you say @MIs? Would that be ok with you?
That would be Perfect, just to avoid the stupid Launcher Mod Limit! :steamfacepalm:
ThatPersianCoin 4 Nov, 2024 @ 5:10pm
DEI (lesser XD) dev here, I love this mod hot damn! Didn't think it was even possible in Rome 2's engine. Excellent work
marcello.invernizzi 4 Nov, 2024 @ 11:09am
Good. A similar rework for Attila would be nice too.
Switching Doom 3 Nov, 2024 @ 2:50pm
Does this work with Para Bellum? :RomanShield:

@Mr. Hankey Hi there, thnx!

MIs  [author] 3 Nov, 2024 @ 12:10pm
@Summary Hi mate, thanks for the review and happy you liked it.

1 и 2. As I replied below, I can't change the tiling yet.

3. The game shares the assets, and if I mod something in the camp, it will change in the towns as well. So I left a lot of things untouched for now, like the market (which seems weird honestly). I'll think about what I can do with the barbarians without messing up their settlements.

4. The fence was taken on the basis of greko/roman references and is quite credible, as the material is more available and easier for building temporary fortifications. In any case, it is speculation in one way or another and it is probably difficult to be 100% historically correct.
Mr. Hankey 3 Nov, 2024 @ 3:57am
Hey, it´s a very cool mod. Can you tell me which files only change the campaign visual? Because I want to make a special stance for Rome and only Rome should have the encampment campaign visual.
Summary 2 Nov, 2024 @ 2:41am
@MIs Firstly this is a great mod and one that I will certainly use and feature on my YouTube channel Let's Play Series. However, some few requests (if possible):

(1) Increase the size of the camp, so that the entire 20 stack can fit inside the camp quite comfortably. At least changing the way the tents work is a massive improvement already>
(2) Change the location of the camp to a more central position on the map. This will prevent reinforcements from arriving on the shorter side or the significantly longer side of the battle. No matter in the reinforcement direction. They should technically arrive at around the same time.
(3) Have a different look for Barbarian and Nomadic factions as this game looks too Roman/Hellenic and will break the immersion in a barbarian circumstance. Perhaps Barbarians can have a more circular camp?
(4) Change the appearance of the walls into wooden walls instead of the wicker walls. Wicker as a material for defensive fortifications makes no sense.
MIs  [author] 30 Oct, 2024 @ 9:46am
@dbompiedi Hi, unfortunately, no. Even putting up a gate is a challenge. There is no solid toolkit to make it work.
dbompiedi 30 Oct, 2024 @ 8:33am
@MIs hi is it possible, if u know, if you can mod the camp with proper gates, with spaces to let the archers climb the walls and shoots arrows from there? I mean is it possible to create with a mod a realistic roman camp? or you can just modify the basic camp from vanilla?
regulatoru 29 Oct, 2024 @ 10:24am
I was just installing Rome 2 for some Ceasar in Gaul campaign (again) with DEI, and I was thinking how much better it would have been if the military camp had looked more historically accurate, and this mode just appears on my feed. Thanks man.
Moon Champion 28 Oct, 2024 @ 4:46pm
I was suprised DEI did not have something like this for the roman faction, so this will be great.
Colin van der Voort 28 Oct, 2024 @ 3:34am
cool AF, can you make it bigger like the CIG campagne?
NAZILP 26 Oct, 2024 @ 4:01pm
GOOD,能不能让士兵上这种城墙
Griffinnn 26 Oct, 2024 @ 10:21am
pretty cool bro
MIs  [author] 24 Oct, 2024 @ 11:55am
@Vitallion The plan is to mod the barbarian settlement walls a bit later, then they will be more in line with one style, in my humble opinion.
