Out of curiosity, where is the open-necked shirt in image 5 from? Very Max Payne / Hawaiian Militia!
Kinsect 15 Nov, 2024 @ 8:14am
It's showing up now! Thank you N/A! ^^
(the big vests also work with the dead or alive cosmetics as well so doubly so for that ^^;;)

well, i've gotten my shit sorted now.
N/A  [author] 12 Nov, 2024 @ 7:15pm
ah, yeah. that's probably it.
Wet Dog Squad 12 Nov, 2024 @ 7:13pm
You will need to redo the localization file to add part names to all of those new templates as well, btw. It's tedious, but it will result in the armor pieces being available for every vanilla soldier type.
Wet Dog Squad 12 Nov, 2024 @ 7:10pm
I believe I know what the problem is. In XcomContent.ini, you re-use the same template names for each soldier type, which you need to create a new template for each faction soldier.

For example, it looks like you're using "NA_VestConv_A_BareFitClean_F" as the template name for Soldiers, Skirmishers, Reapers, and Templars. Instead you should have it set up so
"NA_VestConv_A_BareFitClean_F" is for Soldiers
"NA_VestConv_A_BareFitClean_Skirmisher_F" is for Skirmishers
"NA_VestConv_A_BareFitClean_Reaper_F" is for Reapers
and
"NA_VestConv_A_BareFitClean_Templar_F" is for Templars.

If you don't do that, then the last line to name the template will overwrite the previous, so as-is the vests are only available for Templars, as their entries are at the bottom of the file.

well i'm out of ideas. i may have time to look into it this weekend.
Kinsect 8 Nov, 2024 @ 3:34pm
Yeah they're still not showing up
and now they're not available for the Alien Hunter armor's
Kinsect 5 Nov, 2024 @ 8:56am
If you want to keep it small you can keep the vests types at there designated tiers ^^;;

someone did some testing on the side and figured out a solution, which i was hoping to avoid because it's 4 times the config lines, but so it goes. not going to get around to it tonight but i'll try to push it through tomorrow or at least this weekend.
Kinsect 4 Nov, 2024 @ 5:27pm
neither are the other Vests
Kinsect 4 Nov, 2024 @ 5:25pm
Yeah the Kevlar Vests are not showing up on the Kevlar armor o.o
Kinsect 4 Nov, 2024 @ 3:54pm
I just found out that your Vest's can work with the Alien Hunters armor
Sweet! thank you ^^
Ember 4 Nov, 2024 @ 10:48am
thanks for the strapless versions!

Yoink. Time to make BoogalooCom a reality.
N/A  [author] 1 Nov, 2024 @ 7:47pm
@Ydah. i'll consider it. would be pretty easy, just a question of if i get around to it or get distracted by something else first.
Ember 1 Nov, 2024 @ 1:59pm
hey I have noticed a ton of these vests look AMAZING as "extra-padding" ontop of a lot of armours, the only problem I have is that almost all of the shoulders clip into the under armour, could you add another alternative where the vests dont have the shoulder-straps? Thanks for the extra customization regardless.
Kinsect 30 Oct, 2024 @ 8:40pm
I use Iridar's Appearance Manager (but I don't use Project Dollhouse yet) so I can't use UCR so a check wouldn't hurt ^^;;
N/A  [author] 30 Oct, 2024 @ 6:37pm
it's a torsodeco, so it can be used if the torso deco is free. will it look good on every torso? probably not, but there's two male sizes and three female sizes to try and avoid clipping problems. every size has the 6 texture variants.

i will say though, i'm using Unrestricted Customization Redux at the moment and didn't do anything in the setup for various armour types so it may only work on conventional armour if you don't have that. wasn't something i thought to check.
Kinsect 30 Oct, 2024 @ 10:40am
Including the hero armor’s themselfs?
Kinsect 30 Oct, 2024 @ 10:39am
Say can this be worn on other types of armor besides the base game’s ones?
(Like the Light and Heavy Kevlar (resistance warrior armor))
lichen93 29 Oct, 2024 @ 11:17pm
Oh my god that's early.
N/A  [author] 29 Oct, 2024 @ 9:48pm
@MrCloista yeah, the smallest version is sized for the bare anarchy's children torsos and then there's one larger one for male and two for female so it should work with most non super bulky torsos. if there's a lot of stuff attached to the torso it'll probably clip through though.

@Kinsect there's clean and dirty textures. the clean are purple coloured and used for the templar, the dirty are red coloured and used by skirmishers. i didn't do anything except slap the 6 different textures on a couple of different models.

These look to be cut really well for over civvy clothes and will be a nice complement to my old Cosmetic Ballistic Vests mod which has them cut for use under jackets https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2339018477
