Yes, i've done that, but now, i've gotta find "the vpk this mod comes with".
Now, is it the one in my addons folder (in my left4dead2 folder), the one in my userdata folder, or a dfferent one i don't know of?
the reskins folder itself doesnt exist yet, youll have to create one. its just so the stuff in that folder is loaded over the stuff in the base mst folder
I hate to drag this explanation for longer than has already been, but the only vpks related to this mod is one in my addons folder and one in my userdata folder, and after taking a look at both, they're the exact same, with no customization stuff on either one.
If i'm causing too much trouble, i apologize.
you have to extract the files from the vpk this mod comes with and create the extra reskin folder yourself.
i dont mean this in a rude way but if youre getting stuck at this section then i dont think youll be able to figure out how to actually change when the coveralls show up lol
After what feels like 30 minutes of looking through my Steam folder, looking for the reskin directory, i still couldn't find anything. I searched my Left 4 Dead 2 folder, my workshop folder, my userdata folder, and searched for the word "mst" in my Steam folder, to see if it even exists in the first place.
It does not.
I went to left4dead2\materials\models, but there's only "props_placeable" and "weapons" in there.
What do i do?
materials\models\survivors\mechanic\mst\reskins\
copy the vmts from the base folder and edit them
Where do i find it?
this comes with a reskin directory so you can change whether he has his coveralls up or not to fit what you want
Though, to be fair, i'm not really a fan of the idea of Ellis constantly putting his coveralls on then taking the off, just to then put then back on.
You should rename this addon to "Ellis but he has ADHD".
Unless the survivors had to take a quick stop to find gas for the car.
Same thing applies to The Passing. He wouldn't have time to put on his coveralls while driving, would he?
